An information processing apparatus, method and computer program product are described. At least the apparatus includes comprising a display control device that controls a display of a lock release screen that has displayed thereon a manipulation object and a target object. A manipulation detection device detects a lock release manipulation as a detected moving of the manipulation object toward the target object. The display control device changes an appearance of the target object in response to the manipulation detection device detecting the moving of the manipulation object toward the target object.
Abstract:
An information processing apparatus according to an embodiment of the present technology includes a detection unit, an acceptance unit, and an image control unit. The detection unit is capable of detecting whether or not each of a plurality of reproduction apparatuses constitutes a group related to reproduction of content, each of the plurality of reproduction apparatuses being connected to a network, each of the plurality of reproduction apparatuses being capable of reproducing the content. The acceptance unit accepts a user operation related to constitution of the group. The image control unit outputs a group state image on the basis of a detection result by the detection unit, the group state image representing a constitution state of the group, the group state image including an image of each of the plurality of reproduction apparatuses, and controls the group state image in response to the accepted user operation related to constitution of the group.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus, a display control method, and a program for improving user operability in a lock release manipulation.SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus includes a display control unit that controls a display of a lock release screen that includes a manipulation object and a target object, and a manipulation detection unit that detects a lock release manipulation by a user for moving the manipulation object toward the target object in the lock release screen. The display control unit changes a display of the target object in response to the moving of the manipulation object.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor, an information processing method and a program enabling improvement in operability of a select operation with a compact touch panel display.SOLUTION: A plurality of items (such as characters and images) with a prescribed arrangement is displayed on a guide area 112, 122, or 132 in the prescribed arrangement, and a series of items specified by a guide frame 112a, 122a, or 132a on the guide area is enlarged to be larger than the items displayed on the guide area and is displayed on a key selection area 113, 123, or 133 in a line in the prescribed arrangement. When the guide frame undergoes a move operation M1 on the guide area, the series of items specified by the guide frame after the move operation is displayed on the key selection area in a line in the prescribed arrangement. When the series of items undergoes a scroll operation M2 on the key selection area, display of the guide area is updated so that the series of items displayed on the key selection area after the scroll operation will be specified by the guide frame, and a selection of the item is made in response to a select operation on the key selection area.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor, an information processing method and an information processing program, which remarkably improve operability. SOLUTION: The information processor detects a touch position on an information display screen 12A of a display part 12 provided to arrange the information display screen 12A on a front face 11A of a body part 11 to be held, generates touch position detection data represented with coordinates based on two axes intersecting at the detected touch position; and displays predetermined information on the information display screen 12A of the display part 12 when detecting that the touch position on the information display screen 12A is continuously displaced from within a predetermined region on the information display screen 12A in a predetermined one oblique direction with respect to two directions along the two axes, based on the touch position detection data. Thus, it is possible to display predetermined information on the information display screen 12A of the display part 12 only by holding the body part 11 by a hand, and moving the thumb of the hand holding the body part 11 in the one oblique direction while being in contact with the information display screen 12A of the display part 12. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to select musical contents matching the latent tastes, pleasantly without any stress in a short period of time. SOLUTION: The method includes: selecting a group of musical contents to be reproduced from many contents; reproducing and outputting bridge portion data A1, B1 and C1 individually sequentially on the grouped musical contents; and inserting bridge switching sound effects expecting the effects desired by the user individually among the bridge portion data A1, B1 and C1. Thus, only the bridge portion of the grouped musical contents is partially reproduced to allow the user to recognize what the grouped musical contents are in a short period of time. At the same time, by the series of flow of the bridge portions and the bridge switching sound effects, the user does not get bored and is able to select the musical contents matching the latent tastes, pleasantly without any stress in a short period of time.
