Abstract: A colour video signal detector which detects the colour level and the colour phase of a colour bar video signal comprises a differentiating circuit (1) that differentiates a color video signal to detect edges in the colour video signal, a switching IC (5) that holds values of the colour video signal at times after a given time interval from the edges and a microcomputer (10) that measures the extracted values of the colour video signal. The differentiating circuit 10 is used for synchronising the colour video sampling to edges in a colour bar signal and allows a seven or eight colour bar signal to be correctly regulated.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display an image with high quality by compensating dispersion and a secular change of a cathode ray tube or the like so as to keep a lightness of a screen constant. SOLUTION: A video signal S11 via a variable gain amplifier circuit 11 with a variable resistor RV for contrast control and a current detection pulse P13 from a pulse generating circuit 13 are fed to a mixer circuit 12 and an output of the mixer circuit 12 is fed to a cathode ray tube 17 through a current detection circuit 16. A cathode current in a cathode ray tube 17 detected by a detection circuit 16 based on the detected pulse is compared with a specified value in a storage circuit 19 by a comparator circuit 18. A new mixer circuit 21 is inserted between the variable resistor RV and the variable gain amplifier circuit 11, and an output signal S18 of the comparator circuit 18 and a contrast control signal Srv are fed to the variable gain amplifier circuit 11 through the mixer circuit 21 to control the gain of the variable gain amplifier circuit 11 thereby making the cathode current of the cathode ray tube 17 in matching with the specified current.

At the time, a signal output circuit 15 impresses leakage current detection pulses to the base of a PNP transistor 12. Then, the leakage current to the cathode 2 and a bias current supplied through a resistor 11 are made to flow to the resistor 13. Also, a voltage applied to the resistor 13 is inputted to a clamping circuit 20 and the clamping circuit 20 clamps the voltage corresponding to the current made to flow to the resistor 13 at the time to 0V.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of connectors by connecting between equipment by a single signal line. SOLUTION: Equipment 1 is provided with a data output terminal 11 and a data input terminal 12. Then, the output terminal 11 is connected to a point (e) which becomes a connection point with outside by way of a resistance element 13. On the other hand, equipment 2 is also provided with a data output terminal 21 and a data input terminal 22. Also, this point (e) is directly connected to the data input terminal 12 on the equipment 1 side, while on the side of the equipment 2, the point (e) is connected to the data input terminal 22 of the equipment 2 by way of a voltage discrimination means 25 constituted by a so-called window comparator. Here, the point (e) connects the first equipment 1 provided inside a set to the second equipment 2 provided outside.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow circuit devices which have different source voltage to perform two-way communicate without using switching signal. SOLUTION: A circuit device 1 connected to a 3.3 V power terminal 10 and a circuit device 2 connected to 5 V power terminal 20 are arranged and input/output terminals 11 and 21 are arranged respectively. Then the input/output terminals 11 and 21 are connected through the source and drain terminals (controlled terminal) of, for example, an N type JFET 31 as a two-way element. The source and drain terminal of the JFET 31 are connected to the power terminals 10 and 20 on the sides where the respective terminals are connected via respective resistors 41 and 51. Further, the gate terminals (control terminal) of the JFETs 31 and 32 are grounded and the load voltage characteristic of the element is about -1.5 V.
