A portable electronic apparatus, a user interface controlling method and a program are provided to enable an operation input device, as its main body is moved, to operate an electronic apparatus through the use of sensing signals obtained from an acceleration sensor. An electronic apparatus(1) comprises a main body motion determination device(21) and a control device(11). The main body motion determination device is configured to determine whether a predetermined accelerated motion is exerted on a main body of the electronic apparatus based on whether a rate of change in acceleration per unit time in a predetermined axial direction is determined to exceed a predetermined value. The control device is configured to control the electronic apparatus to perform a predetermined action based on a pattern of the predetermined accelerated motion determined to occur by the main body motion determination device.

A contents reproducing apparatus, an audio player, and a contents reproducing method are provided to prevent the generation of an error in an analyzed result by converting analysis algorithm in walking or traveling and using the optimum algorithm as the analysis algorithm when analyzing a walking or traveling tempo. A contents reproducing apparatus includes a sensor(31), a discriminating circuit(32), a storage(21), a reproducing circuit(22), and a control circuit(42). The discriminating circuit(32) discriminates whether the motion of a user is the first motion or the second motion from a detected output of the sensor(31). The storage(21) memorizes contents. The reproducing circuit(22) reproduces the contents. The control circuit(42) reads the contents from the storage(21) on the basis of a discriminated output of the discriminating circuit(32), and provides the read contents to the reproducing circuit(22).

A method for searching and selecting contents, a contents reproduction apparatus, and a searching server are provided to enable contents suitable for the motion of a user to be selected and reproduced even if the user is not able to give directions and obtain imitation suitable for the taste of the user and an operation change pattern as the imitation of contents change when the motion tempo of the user is changed. A method of searching and selecting contents comprises the following steps of: detecting the motion tempo of a user; determining whether time when the detected motion tempo is continuously out of the threshold range of the motion tempo corresponding to contents being reproduced exceeds a waiting time which is set up or calculated; and searching and selecting contents according to the motion tempo of the user when the motion tempo of the user is out of the threshold range by exceeding the waiting time.

A reproduction apparatus, a contents selection method, a contents distribution system, an information processing apparatus, a contents transmission method, and a memorizing medium are provided to reduce effort for allowing a user to previously measure a tempo when the user performs target motion and select contents having a tempo suitable for a tempo of the motion of the user by automatically selecting contents having a tempo according to a motion tempo on the basis of information of the automatically measured motion tempo of the user. An HDD(Hard Disc Drive)(34) stores the first contents database(34a) in which contents including at least music correspond to tempo information indicating a tempo of the music. A recording/reproducing unit(31) reproduces the contents. A walking tempo measuring unit(25) measures a motion tempo obtained according to the body motion of a user. A CPU(21) searches contents from the first contents database(34a) on the basis of information of the motion tempo measured by the walking tempo measuring unit(25). The CPU(21) selects the searched contents as the contents reproduced by the recording/reproducing unit(31).

When receiving information from a recognition object, an emotion module determines the type of the input information and changes the emotion level of each emotional unit by using the parameters corresponding to the input information. The emotion module selects one at the highest emotion level from the emotional units having greater emotion levels than a threshold. The selected emotional unit communicates the information to an object, such as a motion-generating object, which requires the information.

It is possible to easily search necessary information from various information. Information on the music data performance position is registered. Music data such as audio data and MIDI data is played and during the performance, registration instruction is performed via a keyboard. Information is registered for the performance position corresponding to the timing when the registration instruction is performed. When searching information, the music data having the information registered is played and search instruction is performed via the keyboard or the like when the performance position containing desired information is reached. According to this instruction, the information registered at this performance position is searched and the information can be accessed. Since information is registered for the performance position of the music data, it is possible to easily and intuitively perform information registration and search. Moreover, since information is searched by the sound, there is no need of watching the screen.
