Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a cassette loading mechanism capable of facilitating a space conservation for the depth of the main of a cassette comportment by the use of a driving motor for tape loading. CONSTITUTION:1st and 2nd spring members 14, 15 to insert and hold a holding pin 3 of the cassette holder 2 between them by an inserting pressure of the caasette so as capable of sliding in the prescribed amount at the unloading position of a loading lever 7, and an ejector member 5 to slide linked with the sliding operation of loading pin 3, are provided. A start switch 8 is provided, which is turned ON by the sliding operation of the ejector member 5 and made capable of moving the cassette holder 2 to the loading position by driving the driving motor for loading.
