    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently control the auxiliary power without using a mechanical torque sensor and to reduce the weight of the moving device. SOLUTION: A moving device 1 with an auxiliary power source 2 is provided with a speed detection means 3 and an acceleration detection means 4 for detecting the speed and acceleration thereof, and a incline detection means 5 for detecting a inclination of the moving device 1 or the driving road. A control means 6 controls the auxiliary power source 2 by calculating the auxiliary power value based on the detected information by the detection means. The control means 6 calculates a necessary work rate for maintaining the current speed of the moving device 1 and a necessary work rate for accelerating the moving device 1, and then obtains the auxiliary power value by multiplying the sum of both work rates by a coefficient value which is less than 1. Further the control means 6 obtains an operating point as an intersecting point of graph lines based on the auxiliary power value-speed power value-speed characteristic drawing and the work rate-operation speed characteristic drawing of the auxiliary power source 2. Therefore the control means controls driving of the auxiliary power source 2.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rechargeable power supply device which can be cooled when its temperature rises to, e.g. a predetermined upper limit operation guaranteeing temperature or higher, and which can be heated when its temperature drops to or below a lower limit operation guaranteeing temperature and a method for cooling the same. SOLUTION: This rechargeable power supply device has a rechargeable battery 32 for supplying power to the object of power supply, a temperature sensor 36 for detecting the temperature of the battery, a solar battery 34 for charging the battery, and a cooling means 38 which, when the temperature T of the battery detected by the temperature sensor 36 is not lower than the upper limit operation guaranteeing temperature T1 of the battery, operates on power supplied from the solar battery 34 to cool the battery. In the rechargeable power supply device, the rechargeable battery 32 can supply power to the object of power supply. The temperature sensor 36 detects the temperature of the battery 32. The solar battery charges the battery 32. The cooling means 38 operates on the power supplied from the solar battery to cool the battery 32 when the temperature of the battery detected by the temperature sensor is not lower than the upper limit operation guaranteeing temperature of the battery.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To read originals on both upper and lower planes simultaneously by providing a transparent pert to read the originals on the upper and lower planes of a flat shape cabinet, turning the reflecting member of an optical block on the forward and backward paths of the optical block when it is reciprocated and reading the originals on the upper and lower planes on one reciprocal movement of the optical block. CONSTITUTION:An image scanner 1 is formed in flat shape and thinned, and the transparent plates 2 and 3 are arranged on the upper and the lower planes of the scanner. The optical block 11 is provided in the image scanner 1. A mirror 23 in the optical block 11 is turned corresponding to a case where the original 25A is read from the upper plane and the case where the original 25B is read from the lower plane. In case of reading required information from a booklet 50 in which the originals on whose both planes the information are described are bound, the image scanner 1 is inserted between the originals. By starting the reading of the original, the optical block 11 in the image scanner 1 is reciprocated, and the original on the upper plane of the image scanner 1 is read on the forward path, and the original on the lower plane of the image scanner 1 is read on the backward path.

By applying currents to the driving coils of the stator ST, the rotor RT and the wheel 17 are turned together.
