Abstract: This invention relates to an optical disk recording and reproducing apparatus for recording a predetermined signal on and/or reproducing the same from a writable disk which is rotated at a constant linear velocity by using a laser from a laser source. In this case, upon reproducing the above-described signal, if a signal recorded on the inner periphery of the disk is accessed, during the period from this addressing up to the time when the linear velocity at the inner periphery of the disk becomes constant, on the basis of a spindle lock signal, the beam power of the laser from the laser source and irradiating the disk is decreased to thereby prevent useless data from being rewritten on the disk.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable processing which combining freely audio data in which multiple channels are inputted in a channel pair. SOLUTION: The audio data inputted in a channel pair, respectively are supplied to selectors 14A to 14C via a multiplexing device 12 and a bus 13 through input I/F 11A to 11C. The selectors 14A to 14C have two switching circuits for selecting arbitrary one channel in the data of six channels, respectively. Selected data are supplied to encoders 15A to 15C, respectively, subjected to coding processing, and then are supplied to a composer 16. The composer 16 arranges the data in a prescribed order, adds header information or the like, and outputs them. Multiple channels are once multiplexed by a multiplexing device 12. The combination of channels can be set freely so that the selectors 14A to 14C select the data for every channel.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To simplify the circuit, by connecting two series circuits, in each of which two switching elements are connected in series, in parallel and connecting them to a current source and connecting a signal winding of a magnetic head between connection points of elements and inputting a digital signal to it. CONSTITUTION:Switching elements SW1 and SW3 are connected in series at a point A, and switching elements SW2 and SW4 are connected in series at a point B, and these series circuits are connected in parallel at points C and D and are connected to a current source S, and a signal winding M1 of the magnetic head is connected between points A and B. The switching element is formed with an MOS transistor TR, a bipolar TR, or the like, and pairs of switching elements SW1 and SW4 and switching elements SW2 and SW3 are controlled by the digital signal so that they are opened and closed oppositely to each other. A current IH from the current source S has the direction inverted in accordance with the digital signal and is flowed on the signal winding M1 to prevent the occurrence of the unbalance between positive and negative. Thus, the circuit is simplified, and the multichannel system is realized easily with one current source S.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a voice coding device to be connected easily with external appliances. SOLUTION: In a voice coding device 1, four pieces of input connectors 10A, 10B', 10C' and 10D to which audio data in which two channels are multiplexed are possible to be inputted respectively are provided with respect to 6 pieces of encoders 11A to 11F performing respectively the coding of the audio data of one channel. Outputs of the encoders 11A to 11C and outputs of the encoders 11D to 11F are multiplexed respectively in multiplexing parts 12A, 12B to be outputted respectively as coded streams of the main voice and the sub-voice. As a result, audio data of two voice modes (3/0) can be inputted to the voice coding device without using an external mixer or the like.

Namely, images and audio data which are matched to each other in timing are recorded at positions on one digital sound track 5R which correspond in the film travel direction.
