    Abstract: An automatic focusing system includes a photo-sensitive element for receiving light passing a main lens system of a camera. The photo-sensitive element produces a distance indicative signal based on the received light. The main lens system is driven to a position to focus upon an object on the basis of the distance indicative signal from the photo-sensitive element. The system is also provided with an auxiliary light generating element for emitting an auxiliary light to the object. The auxiliary light generating element is activated while distance measurement is performed for focusing operation in order to enable the automatic focusing system to perform a distance measurement and focus upon the object even in dark environmental conditions or upon dark objects. The auxiliary light generating element may be selected to emit an infrared light beam or a far infrared light beam.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct camera shake by a small-sized and inexpensive device by constituting an apex angle variable prism of plural lenses, making the central lens a fixed part, and causing the lenses before and behind the central lens and having the same curvature to pivot in an orthogonal direction to draw a specified radius. SOLUTION: The lenses G2 and G3 are pivotably and proximately arranged by interposing the lens G1 fixed in a lens barrel 20 in between. The opposed surfaces of the lenses G1 and G2 and the opposed surfaces of the lenses G1 and G3 have the same curvature, respectively, so as to constitute the optical system of the optical axis angle adjusting device 1. The lenses G2 and G3 are held by mechanisms pivoting in a direction where they are orthognally crossed each other on a circumference having the same radius as the curvature of the opposed surfaces thereof with respect to the lens G1. Thus, the respective pivotal mechanisms are constituted of the same member, and a control circuit is made the same. By fixing the central lens G1, the supporting mechanisms for the lenses G2 and G3 before and behind the lens G1 are made strong, resonance in a low frequency band is prevented, and controllability is improved.
