    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve freedom of wiring pattern design by forming a cutout in a mounting side end edge of a contact maker. CONSTITUTION:A wiring pattern constituting a printed circuit is formed on both sides of a board 11. A plurality of through-holes 12, 13 for connecting a wiring pattern, and a land extending to an opening periphery of the through- holes 12, 13 are provided to the board 11. A terminal 14 for probe connection is mounted on a terminal mounting surface 11a of the board 11. The terminal 14 is formed of a contact maker which consists of an approximately reverse T-shaped terminal main body 15 having a stopping hole 15a opened in both edge faces, and connectors 16, 17 which are projectingly provided to a terminal mounting side end edge of the terminal main body 15 and can be inserted to the through-holes 12, 13. A cutout 18 opened downward is formed in a mounting side end edge of the terminal main body 15, and two contact parts 20, 21 are provided which are connected to the land by the cutout 18 and cross a pattern wiring 19 on the terminal mounting surface 11a. Thereby, freedom of wiring pattern design can be improved.

That is, when the marks 81, 82, 91 are printed on a bland part 11, an effective image 10 is printed, and if this printing is completed, the printing of the marks 83, 84, 92 is executed on a blank part 112. When it is judged that the mark printed is not the one at the printing start side, all the printing action is to be ended assuming that said mark is the one printed on the blank 112. Thus four block copies of Y, C, M, B can be produced, and also the registering marks or color identification marks can be automatically printed at prearranged positions.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To decrease the influence of an ink-ribbon driving system on a printing picture by providing a D.C. motor to the driving system of an ink-ribbon winding mechanism and by driving the said motor with a signal delayed to a control signal for platen for a specified length of time. CONSTITUTION:When printing, the control signal SMP is supplied to an input terminal at every constant period T. During the latter half of the period T, the picture elements of 1-line share are printed by a thermal head. Also, the said control signal is inputted to a stepping motor control circuit 2 as well as to a phase shift circuit 4. From the circuit 4, a pulse that rises delaying by t1 is obtained and further by the second phase shift circuit 5, a pulse whose width is t2 is obtained. This pulse is made a motor-drive output pulse and is supplied to the D.C. motor 40. Consequently, the slackening part of the ink- ribbon driven by a stepping motor 32 is wound immediately after the control signal SMP.

Consequently, when emission amount of the light emitting diode D decreases due to use for a long time or an output characteristic decreases because of decrease of a light receiving characteristic of the phototransistor Tr, this standard voltage is varied by an output decrease compensation circuit 1.

When the second detection point gamma of the operating part 10b is passed through the recessed part of the sensor 8, the sensor circuit block 20 generates a position detection signal, whereby the generation of the pulses is topped, and a reverse current driving signal for braking is supplied from a braking timing block 24 to the motor 7.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable a thermal head to be securely protected from being burned due to an overcurrent, by a method wherein it is detected whether or not printing data are present in a normal period of time, it is detected whether or not a thermal head is located at a normal printing position making contact with a platen, and supply of a driving power source is controlled by the logical sum of the detection outputs. CONSTITUTION:The first position sensor part 10 detects whether or not the thermal head 5 is located at the printing position, and outputs a detection signal to a signal input terminal 30A of a thermal head protective circuit 30. The printing data are supplied to a printing data input terminal of a thermal head driving part 25 through a signal input terminal 20, and are supplied to a signal input terminal 30B of the protective circuit 30. The protective circuit 30 detects whether the printing data to be supplied to the driving part 25 are present in a normal period of time, detects whether or not the head 5 is located at the normal printing position making contact with the platen 1, and a relay coil switch 40B is opened and closed by the logical sum of the detection outputs, thereby controlling the supply of the driving power source to the driving part 25.
