    Abstract: A pivoting device for a stand and an electronic apparatus are provided to increase convenience of the device without pivoting the stand manually by changing a pivot motion allowing angle of the stand through a pivot angel changing lever. A pivoting device(39) for a stand is supported on a rear surface of a main body to be pivoted. A main body side fixed part is fixed to the main body. A stand side fixed part is fixed to the stand. Pivot shafts(42,43) work as a supporting point of the pivot motion of the stand for the main body. Spring members(53) provide the stand with pivot force to the direction to which the end of the stand approaches the lower end of the main body. A pivot angle changing lever(57) changes the pivot motion allowing angle of the stand according to the operation position.
