Abstract: A process for treating biomass comprises the provision of a material that contains an amount of residual moisture. The material is heated to a torrefying temperature in a low-oxygen atmosphere in the torrefaction reactor, the material being converted into a torrefied material. The material with the contained residual moisture is essentially fully dried in a drying chamber by evaporation of residual moisture. The torrefaction reactor comprises a torrefying chamber, in which the torrefaction of this dried material is essentially carried out. The material is conveyed through the torrefaction reactor in a transport direction. The drying of the material in the drying chamber is carried out by introducing into it a hot drying gas that flows through the drying chamber in co-current with the material. The torrefaction of the material in the torrefying chamber of the torrefaction reactor is carried out by introducing into it a hot torrefying gas that flows through the torrefying chamber of the torrefaction reactor in counter-current with the material.

Abstract: Method and device for cleaning synthesis gas obtained during gasification of biomass. The synthesis gas is passed through a saturation device and an absorption device, both of which are fed with oil. In this way the synthesis gas is scrubbed with oil and tar is substantially removed therefrom. The tar-containing oil which is released in this process is subjected to a cleaning step, as a result of which oil with a high percentage of tar and oil with a relatively low percentage of tar are formed. The first oil can be returned to the gasification, and the remaining oil can be reused.

Abstract: Un proceso para tratar biomasa comprende la provisión de un material que contiene una cantidad de humedad residual. El material se calienta a una temperatura de torrefacción en una atmósfera con bajo contenido de oxigeno en el reactor de torrefacción, el material siendo convertido en un material sometido a torrefacción. El material con la humedad residual contenida esencialmente se seca por completo en una cámara de secado mediante evaporación de humedad residual. El reactor de torrefacción comprende una cámara de torrefacción, en la cual se lleva a cabo la torrefacción de este material seco esencialmente. El material se transporta a través del reactor de torrefacción en una dirección de transporte. El secado de material en la cámara de secado se lleva a cabo al introducirlo en un gas de secado en caliente que fluye a través de la cámara de secado en co-corriente con el material. La torrefacción del material en la cámara de torrefacción del reactor de torrefacción se lleva a cabo al introducirlo en un gas de torrefacción en caliente que fluye a través de la cámara de torrefacción del reactor de torrefacción en contra-corriente con el material.

Abstract: Proceso para tratamiento de un material, como biomasa o desechos, comprendiendo: - la provisión de un material que contiene una cantidad de humedad residual, - la provisión de un reactor de torrefacción (10), - el calentamiento del material en el reactor de torrefacción (10) a una temperatura de torrefacción en una atmósfera de oxígeno bajo en el reactor de torrefacción (10), donde el material se convierte en un material tostado, caracterizado por el hecho de que el material con la humedad residual contenida en éste se seca esencialmente por completo en una cámara de secado (54) por evaporación de la humedad residual, y la torrefacción del material seco se realiza esencialmente en una cámara de torrefacción (55) del reactor de torrefacción (10), y el material se conduce a través del reactor de torrefacción (10) en una dirección de transporte (B), y el secado del material en la cámara de secado (54) se realiza por introducción en ésta de un gas de secado caliente que fluye a través de la cámara de secado (54) en corriente paralela con el material, y la torrefacción del material en la cámara de torrefacción (55) del reactor de torrefacción se realiza por introducción en ésta de un gas de torrefacción caliente que fluye a través de la cámara de torrefacción (55) del reactor de torrefacción (10) en contracorriente al material.
