    Abstract: Método para gasificar una biomasa, que incluye las etapas de introducir esta biomasa en un reactor y someterla a temperaturas de entre 600-1300ºC, suministrando cantidades subestequiométricas de oxígeno, someter el gas de síntesis obtenido de esta manera a una depuración para eliminar los grados de alquitrán que se presentan en él, y suministrar el gas de síntesis a un consumidor, caracterizado por el hecho de que la depuración de gases de síntesis comprende las fases de saturarlos completamente o sobresaturarlos con un aceite que es suministrado separadamente, condensar este aceite con una fracción del alquitrán y pasar el gas a través de un dispositivo de absorción de alquitrán mientras se añade más aceite al gas para absorber el alquitrán, descargar el gas depurado y separar al menos una fracción del alquitrán de este aceite.

    Abstract: Method and device for cleaning synthesis gas obtained during gasification of biomass. The synthesis gas is passed through a saturation device and an absorption device, both of which are fed with oil. In this way the synthesis gas is scrubbed with oil and tar is substantially removed therefrom. The tar - containing oil which is released in this process is subjected to a cleaning step, as a result of which oil with a high percentage of tar and oil with a relatively low percentage of tar are formed. The first oil can be returned t o the gasification, and the remaining oil can be reused.
