Abstract:
An apparatus (10) and process for forming packs and stacking pallets of large-format ceramic tiles includes use of plier groups for removing single tiles exiting from a control and selection station of the tiles, piling the tiles in determined positions on a special support structure and transferring the piles of tiles to a wrapping station of the piles. A further plier group is used to remove the wrapped packs and deposit them, in a predetermined arrangement, on specific pallets destined for transport. The apparatus and relative process obviate a series of drawbacks connected with the prior art, which is essentially concerned with suitable treatment of small-to-medium format tiles.

The automatic store (3) is predisposed to identify the items (C) and/or the position of the items (C) on the shelves or trays (30) in the automatic store in order to enable a selection of the items (C) to be placed in outlet according to an order.
Abstract:
A method for identifying non-uniform areas on a surface, comprising: definition of main geometrical and dimensional characteristics of the non- uniform areas to be identified; definition of a mathematical model represented by predetermined function establishing a correspondence or correlation between elements of a bidimensional domain or subdomain, constituted by an area similar to those of the non-uniform areas to be identified, and corresponding elements of a bidimensional codomain or sub-codomain, each expressing a grey-tone intensity value; exploration of the surface for acquiring an image thereof; comparison of the image by zone or "window" of predetermined dimensions with the codomain or sub-codomain representing the mathematical model, and detection of the differences there-between; calculation, for each zone or "window", of an overall numerical index expressing the correlation value with the elements of a bidimensional codomain or sub-codomain, comparison of each overall numerical index with a predetermined threshold acceptability value; signalling of any exceeding of the predetermined threshold acceptability value.
Abstract:
An apparatus (10) for decorating ceramic tiles (11) includes combined use of printing heads (13) consisting of elastic silicone cylinders (15) provided with recessed cell matrices, and inkjet-type printing heads (14, 14' ) , arranged sequentially above a conveyor belt (12) bearing the tiles to be decorated. The inkjet nozzles are electronically commanded according to activation rhythms and times suitable for continuously producing patterns and graphics having a length congruent with the length of the patterns and graphics produced by the elastic recessed cell matrices, the activation of the nozzles further being suitably synchronised with the angular position of the cylinders and of the conveyor belt. The above-mentioned apparatus provides, alongside a high level of reliability and limited financial outlay, a considerable production flexibility, typical of inkjet machines
