Abstract:
A display apparatus including a display configured to display a pointing object, a communicator configured to perform communication with a remote control device which recognizes a movement and transmits a signal corresponding to the recognized movement, and a processor configured to control a moving state of the pointing object based on the signal received from the remote control device. The processor controls the moving state of the pointing object according to a relative coordinate method for a first area where a screen of the display is included, and controls the moving state of the pointing object according to an absolute coordinate method for a second area outside the first area.
Abstract:
A user terminal device, a method for controlling the user terminal device, and a system for providing content are disclosed. The user terminal device may include a communicator configured to communicate with a display device, a detector configured to detect a distance between the user terminal device and the display device, a plurality of inputters configured to receive input of a user command, and a controller. The controller is configured to activate at least one of the plurality of inputters in response to a detection that the user terminal is within a predetermined distance with respect to the display device. The user terminal device may control an operation of the display device according to the distance between the user terminal device and the display device.
Abstract:
An image processing apparatus includes a loudspeaker configured to output a sound based on a first audio signal, a receiver configured to receive a second audio signal from a microphone, and at least one processor configured to execute a first voice recognition with regard to the first audio signal and the second audio signal respectively, execute a second voice recognition with regard to the second audio signal in response to results from applying the first voice recognition to the first audio signal and the second audio signal being different from each other, and skip the second voice recognition with regard to the second audio signal in response to the results from applying the first voice recognition to the first audio signal and the second audio signal being equal to each other.
Abstract:
A display apparatus is disclosed. The display apparatus includes a display, an input unit configured to receive a handwriting trace, in response to a user handwriting being performed at a remote control apparatus; a detector configured to determine text corresponding to the handwriting trace; and a controller configured to search for an item corresponding to the text, classify the item into a plurality of categories, and control the display to display the item on the display.
Abstract:
A display apparatus is provided. The display apparatus includes a communicator configured to communicate with an input apparatus comprising a touch pad, and receive coordinate data corresponding to a dragging trajectory input through the touch pad. The display apparatus also includes a display configured to display the dragging trajectory on a screen based on the received coordinate data; and a controller configured to recognize a number or character corresponding to the dragging trajectory based on the received coordinate data, and provide visual feedback adjusting the displayed dragging trajectory according to a recognition result.
Abstract:
A display apparatus (100) including a display (110) configured to display a pointing object (10), a communicator (130) configured to perform communication with a remote control device (200) which recognizes a movement and transmits a signal corresponding to the recognized movement, and a processor (120) configured to control a moving state of the pointing object based on the signal received from the remote control device. The processor controls the moving state of the pointing object according to a relative coordinate method for a first area where a screen of the display is included, and controls the moving state of the pointing object according to an absolute coordinate method for a second area outside the first area.
Abstract:
A user terminal device (100) may include a communicator (110) configured to communicate with a display device (200), a detector (120) configured to detect a distance between the user terminal device and the display device, a plurality of inputters (130) configured to receive input of a user command, and a controller (140). The controller is configured to activate at least one of the plurality of inputters in response to a detection that the user terminal is within a predetermined distance with respect to the display device. The user terminal device may control an operation of the display device according to the distance between the user terminal device and the display device.
