    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital signal processor for performing A/D (Analog-to-Digital)conversion and D/A (Digital-to-Analog) conversion at high speed, without the needs for considerable changes in circuits.
    SOLUTION: A DSP (Digital Signal Processor) 10 processes a digital signal sampled with a basic sampling frequency. A Δ-Σ version A/D converter 8 carries out over-sampling for a voice signal from a microphone 2 with an over-sampling frequency higher than the basic sampling frequency. The DSP 10 carries out down sampling for the over-sampled digital signal to a digital signal of a reference sampling frequency, and carries out digital processing.
