What is characterized in the composition is that the composition is comprised of 100 parts by weight of a diene rubber having a molecular weight distribution expressed in terms of the ratio of the weight-average molecular weight to the number-average molecular weight of 1.1 to 30, 20 to 200 parts by weight of silica and a cationic polymer, and that a toluene-insoluble rubber content per gram of the silica within the range from 0.2 to 1g, and diene cross-linked rubber thereof. What is characterized in the production method is that the method comprises steps of allowing rubber latex stabilized by an anionic emulsifying agent to react with an aqueous suspension of silica containing a cationic polymer and effecting co-coagulation of rubber in the rubber latex with the silica in the aqueous suspension within a specific pH range.

According to the invention, it is possible to provide a rubber composition having highly balanced fuel efficiency, wet grip performance, mechanical strength, wear resistance and low temperature brittleness resistance; and suitably used for tire treads.
Abstract:
A silica-containing rubber composition produced by filtering slurry of silica-containing rubber crumbs obtained by co-coagulating a mixture of rubber latex and silica to give a moisture content of 80 wt% or less, dehydrating by a dehydrator having a compression function, then, drying. According to the present invention, a silica-containing rubber composition with improved silica dispersibility can be provided.
Abstract:
A diene rubber composition with excellent processability which reconciles fuel-saving performance with high road-holding performance and is excellent in tensile strength and wearing resistance; a diene rubber obtained by crosslinking the composition; and a process for producing the composition. The composition is characterized in that it comprises 100 parts by weight of a diene rubber having a molecular-weight distribution, which is represented by the ratio of the weight-average molecular weight to the number-average molecular weight, of 1.1 to 30, 20 to 200 parts by weight of silica, and a cationic polymer and that the amount of rubber components insoluble in toluene is 0.2 to 1 g per g of the silica. The process for producing the composition is characterized by reacting a rubber latex stabilized with an anionic emulsifying agent with an aqueous silica suspension containing a cationic polymer and co-coagulating the rubber contained in the rubber latex and the silica contained in the aqueous suspension in a specific pH range.
Abstract:
A silica-loaded granular rubber which comprises dry granules of a product of the co-coagulation of a rubber and silica particles. It is extremely reduced in dusting and is satisfactory in handleability and suitability for kneading. Also provided is an industrially advantageous process for producing the granular rubber. The silica-loaded granular rubber, which comprises dry granules of a product of the co-coagulation of a rubber and silica particles, is characterized in that it has an average particle diameter (D50) as measured by sieve analysis of 300 to 3,000 μm and that the proportion of granules in the range of D50±(D50×0.5) is 50 wt.% or higher. This silica-loaded granular rubber is produced by feeding a cake which is a product of the co-coagulation of silica and a rubber and has a water content of 40 to 80 wt.% to a drying machine comprising an indirect heating type vessel having a stirring blade and drying the cake while stirring it with the stirring blade.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a wiring substrate capable of easily forming wiring patterns made of a plurality of metals. SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing a wiring substrate includes a step of forming wiring patterns whose surface is at least partly formed with a first metal on an insulating substrate, and a step of contacting a second metal with the surface formed by the first metal of wiring patterns, heating it above the melting point of the second metal to coat the surface formed by the first metal of wiring patterns by the second metal. In the method, the melting point of the second metal is set to be lower than that of the first metal. A contact angle of the melted second metal to the solid first metal is set to be 10 degrees or less, and a contact angle of the melted second metal to the insulating substrate is set to be 100 degrees or more.
