    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a stable film formation by coating at least one side surface of an unoriented or uniaxially oriented film with a coating agent, coating an area not coated with the agent with a liquid, setting a temperature unevenness of the film in a lateral direction except its edge to a specific temperature or lower, and orienting the film in the lateral direction. SOLUTION: A film itself is heated to a temperature necessary for orienting up to immediately before the orientation. At this time, a solvent of a coating agent A is evaporated, and the film temperature of an area coated with the agent A is scarcely raised according to its evaporating latent heat. Since an evaporating latent heat of a liquid B is generated by coating an area not coated with the agent A with the liquid B, a temperature rise of the film of this area is suppressed. As a result, a film temperature differences between both the areas is suppressed to a low value. A coating amount of the liquid B may be decided so that the temperature difference falls within 25 deg.C.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a resin film wherein quality is improved by inhibiting deficiency in a planability, fluctuation in width, and unevenness in thickness by a method wherein a speed of a take-over roll for taking over a sheet peeled off from a rotary cooling body, and a speed of a thermoplastic resin sheet to be taken over satisfies respectively the specific formulas. SOLUTION: A thermoplastic resin film is manufactured wherein molten thermoplastic resin is ejected in a sheet shape on a rotary cooling body 3 from a mouthpiece 2, a liquid film 20 is made to lie between the sheet 1 and the rotary cooling body 3, the thermoplastic resin sheet 1 is formed while it is cooled by pushing it on the rotary cooling body 3 by a pushing means 8, and a part or the whole of the liquid film 21 after peeling off the sheet is removed from the rotary cooling body 3. Then, when a speed of a take-over roll 9 of the sheet 1 peeled off from the rotary cooling body 3 is Vp, the formula I is satisfied, and when a speed of the resin sheet 1 to be taken over is Vf , the thermoplastic resin sheet 1 is taken over at a speed satisfying the formula II. In the formula I, VC is the peripheral speed of the rotary cooling body 3, ρL is density in being molten of the thermoplastic resin, and ρS is the density of the quenched solidified sheet 1.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a water film forming method which can form a water film having a uniform thickness on a casting drum. CONSTITUTION:In this water-film forming method, wet air through a wet air generating device 80 is supplied to a wet air blow-off device arranged in close vicinity to a casting drum through a wet air supply pipe 91. The wet air generating device 80 produces wet air by allowing air through an air supply pipe to pass through hot water in a sealed vessel 81. A temperature of hot water in the sealed vessel 81 is set up at 81 deg.C or higher and 90 deg.C or lower. Since the wet air obtained herein is in almost a saturated state and has a stabilized quantity of moisture, when the same is led to the wet air blow-off device, the water film having a uniform thickness is formed on the casting drum.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To eliminate longitudinal wrinkles and lateral wrinkles so as to improve a winding shape by lifting both lug parts of a film in the outermost wound layer on a winding roll from the winding roll in the position which is situated in the just upstream of a contact pressure roller and corresponds to both lug parts of the film to be wound. CONSTITUTION: In a contact pressure roller 2, soft rubber, plastic resin, or the like is wound on a surface 21, and a lifting device 40 is arranged in the position which is situated in the just upstream of the pressure roller 2 and corresponds to both lug parts of the outermost wound layer 12 of a plastic film 10 made of polyethylene terephthalate, polypropylene, or the like to be wound on a winding roll 4. By means of the lifting device 40, both lug parts of the plastic film 10 in the outermost wound layer 11 on the winding roll 3 is lifted from the winding roll 3. In this way, winding up of wrinkles in the plastic film 10 or generation of longitudinal wrinkles and the like in the inside is prevented, so that the plastic film 10 can be wound up into a good winding shape.

The creep elastic recovery rate ϕ is a value obtained from ϕ=L/L0 , where L0 : elongation at the time of the initial load and L: elastic recovery amount when 98% of a load is removed after creep test.
