Abstract: The present invention relates to intermediate polyester fibre and to a method for the production thereof, characterized in that highly oriented undrawn polyester yarn with a degree of crystallinity in a specified range is passed under a tension of 0.3 x 10 g/d to 5.0 x 10 g/d through a non-contact type heater of heater temperature at least 250 DEG C, and 5-40% shrinkage effected, giving the following properties (A) Properties (A) (1) Specific gravity 1.335-1.360 (g/cm ) (2) Degree of crystallinity 21-26% (3) Crystal size in terms of Miller index (010) 1.4-2.2 nm, in terms of Miller index (100) 1.4-2.5 nm and in terms of Miller index (105) 1.6-3.5 (4) Degree of crystal orientation no more than 75% in the 010 plane and no more than 85% in the 105 plane and (5) Degree of amorphous orientation 0.15-0.4, hot water shrinkage 0 to 35% and dry heat shrinkage 0-35%, and furthermore, this invention relates to a method for the production of fabric of outstanding resilience, which exhibits resistance to permanent yielding (resistance to pile damage or resistance to pile slanting, etc), together with bulkiness and cushioning properties. In particular, with multilayer fabrics known as spatial fabrics such as a knitted spacer fabric, remarkable effects are obtained such as high tear strength, impact absorbance and pilling resistance.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure feather-like bulkiness, bulking durability and draping property or the like balancably by forming a core material in a stitch structure by means of core material fibers, knitting wool fibers in the stitches of the core material, including S-shaped cross section fibers in the wool fibers, and further incorporating the wool fibers having a loop shape. SOLUTION: The core material 3 is formed in the stitch structure by the core material fibers 1 and the wool fibers 2 are knitted in the chain stitch organization in the stitch structure of the material 3. Then, the wool fibers 2 contain the S-shaped cross section fibers having recessed parts in constituting fibers or H-shaped cross section fibers, and the number of the groups of the wool fibers 2 in one stitch array of the core material fibers 1 is made to be the one where one group with the loop-shaped wool fibers 2 is mixed with one group with the cut shaped ones. Thus, feather-like bulkiness, bulking durability, draping property, flexibility, slimy feeling and heat insulating property are obtained balancably.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a pile fabric having soft feeling and excellent in flattening resistance, coverage of pile and color development of printing and the like by composing a pile from constituting fibers including a specific fiber having 9 shaped cross section. SOLUTION: The pile fabric is consisting of polyester fiber of 1.5-6 de preferably 2-3.5 de of monofilament fineness comprising at least 20 wt.%. of polyethyleneterephthalate containing at least 0.01 wt.%. of delustering agent such as titanium oxide and the like, having 9 shaped cross section having lengthwise/sidewise ratio of the cross section of 0.5-3.5 preferably 0.8-2.5 and at least 20 wt.%. of a polyester fiber having circle cross section. The prescribed pile fabric composing fiber is ground dyed in any one of the cotton dyeing, yarn dyeing, fabric dyeing in liquid and color printing, followed by discharge printing, color printing after discharge printing or color printing with a discharge printing agent.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a balance of feather-like bulkiness, bulk durability, drape performance, flexibility, a slimy feeling and a heat retaining property by forming a core material as a stitch structure by core material fiber, forming a packing material by knitting hair material fiber into the stitch. SOLUTION: A packing material is constituted by knitting hair material fiber 2 into a stitch structure by forming a core material 3 as the stitch structure by core material fiber 1. Slipping-out of hair of the hair material fiber 2 is prevented thereby. The group number of hair material fiber 2 in a single stitch row of the core material fiber 2 is not particularly limited. It may also be constituted as two groups or more by knitting groups of the hair material fiber 2 into another stitch of a single stitch row. The lengthwise direction (the stitch continuing direction) length of this core material 3 is preferably 5 to 100 mm. The projecting length of the hair material fiber 2 is preferably 5 to 50 mm. Therefore, feather-like bulkiness, bulk durability, flexibility, slimy feeling and a heat retaining property can be held in a well-balanced state.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a soft and spun-toned pile fabric excellent in pile surface covering effect and resistance to pile falling, by using filament yarns as pile yarns which are produced by combining and interlacing two kinds of polyester filaments differing in birefringence from each other followed by false-twist texturing. SOLUTION: Polyester filaments A and B with birefringence of 110 to 150×10 and 20 to 50×10 , respectively, each having a single fiber fineness of 0.5-6 denier, are arranged in parallel with each other in a weight ratio of (35:65) to (65:35) and then interlaced with each other through an interlacing nozzle. The resultant filament yarn is subjected to false-twist texturing process to produce a processed yarn having the following characteristics: the number of false-twists satisfies the relationship: 15,000 =10%. Using the above processed yarn as pile yarn, the objective pile fabric 20-120 counts/cm in pile density is obtained.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a moisture-absorbing conjugate staple fiber suitable for wadding for a quiet capable of being received in a compact size, excellent in bulkiness, a draping property and amenity, etc., by melt-spinning a moisture- absorbing polymer as a core component and a polyester as a sheath component under specific conditions. SOLUTION: This moisture-absorbing conjugate fiber is obtained by melt- spinning a moisture-absorbing polymer 1 such as a polyetheresteramide as a core component and a polyester 2 as a sheath component, asymmetrically cooling the spun fiber just below a spinneret, drawing the obtained undrawn fiber in a solution having a solution temperature of 80-90 deg.C, imparting crimps in a quantity of 2-8 crimps/inch to the drawn fiber, cutting the fiber, and subsequently thermally treating the cut fiber with a setter at a temperature of 130 deg.C to (the melting point of the moisture-absorbing polymer -5 deg.C). The obtained moisture-absorbing conjugate fiber for waddings has a moisture-absorbing or releasing parameter (ΔMR) of >=2%, a bulkiness-recovering ratio (Z1) of >=5.0 and a long period bulkiness-recovering ratio (Z2) of >=4.5. The amount of the core component contained in the conjugate fiber is preferably 15-50wt.%.
