Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain a ceramic plate which is excellent in workability, antisoiling properties when used, freezing resistance and strength properties by specifying the water absorption in a ceramic plate of a multi-layered structure which is mainly made of ceramic materials. CONSTITUTION: In a ceramic plate which is mainly made of ceramic materials and has a three-layered structure, the water absorption is adjusted to 1-10wt.%, preferably to 1-5wt.%, and the water absorption on one surface is adjusted not over 1wt.%, while the other surface is adjusted over 2wt.%. Preferably, the water absorption of the intermediate layer is adjusted not over 5wt.%. Further, the thickness of each layer is preferably made 0.05-2mm and the difference in water absorption between the adjacent layers is preferably set over 1wt.%.

CONSTITUTION:The objective conjugate filament nonwoven fabric can be produced by melting and extruding two or more kinds of polymers consisting of (A) polybutylene terephthalate and (B) one or more kinds of other thermoplastic polymers through a spinneret for forming an eccentric core/sheath or a side-by-side conjugate fiber, sucking the extruded fiber with an air ejector at a high speed to effect the fibrillation of the fiber, ejecting the fibrillated fibers from the other end of said ejector together with air flow and collecting the obtained crimped web on a receptor.

A narrow sheet using composite thread of combination of polyester fiber and polyamide fiber, further a narrow sheet using composite thread of combination of highly shrinkable fiber wherein in polyester fiber isophthalic acid is copolymerized and different fiber thread, and further a narrow sheet using water sensitive fiber obtained by spinning polyvinyl alcohol having low saponifiability permits permeability to be further improved and good performance to be obtained since it exhibits shrinkability during treatment, and excellent sublimity can be obtained.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide the title novel fiber homogeneously dispersed with fluoropolymer granules, having specified mechanical strength, retaining adequate practical characteristics, good in water repellency and heat resistance, thus suitable for rainwears, etc. CONSTITUTION:The objective fiber homogeneously dispersed with fluoropolymer (pref. polytetrafluoroethylene) granules >=1.5g/de in tenacity. This fiber can preferably be produced by the following process: a raw material monomer constituting fiber-forming host polymer is dispersed, in advance, with fine granules consisting of a fluoropolymer into a slurry, which is then polymerized to prepare chips containing the granules, and these chips are put to spinning. The amount of the fine granules to be used is pref. such as to be 15-30wt.% based on the fiber-forming polymer, in the case of single spinning fiber; while for conjugate spinning fiber, 15-50wt.% based on the sheath or core component polymer.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a nonwoven fabric having uniform weight per square meter, tenacity and a little amount of selvage loss, by laminating a fibrous material in a web-like form to the inner surface of a cylindrical support by means of high speed fluid, hot-pressing on the inner surface and taking up the resultant web-like material. CONSTITUTION:A fibrous material 2 spun from a spinning nozzle 1 is sucked by an air ejector 3 and ejected through a conduit 4, buffer plates 5 and 6 in an opened state onto the inner surface of a cylindrical support 7. The cylindrical support 7 is constructed of an air-permeable member, a suction apparatus 8 is provided in an ejected part and the fibrous material 2 is sucked and collected as a web-like material. The conduit 4 is rotated around the center axis of the cylindrical support. The web-like material is hot-pressed by heat rollers 9 and taken up by nip rolls 11 as a cylindrical web 10.
