    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a resin composition suitable for parts of electrical and electronic devices, having excellent mechanical properties, impact resistance and heat resistance by blending a resin consisting of a thermoplastic polyester and a thermoplastic polyamide with a diglycidyl ester. CONSTITUTION:(A) 100 pst.wt. resin composition consisting of (A) a thermoplastic polyester such as PBT or PET having preferably 0.3-0.5 intrinsic viscosity and (B) a thermoplastic polyamide such as nylon 66 having preferably 2-5 relative viscosity in the weight ratio of the component A/B of preferably (95/5)-(40/60) is blended with (C) 0.01-10 pst.wt., preferably 0.1-5 pts.wt. diglycidyl ester (preferably dimer acid glycidyl ester) shown by the formula (R is >=6C hydrocarbon group) to give a resin composition wherein the dispersed particles B in the component A, having >=2 ratio of major axis to minor axis, occupy specific 20-90% area based on the whole dispersed particles B.
