Abstract: This thin flat ceramic plate comprises a multilayer sheet type fired body having at least three constituent layers containing a ceramic material as a main component. In the greater number of the constituent layers, the thickness of the constituent layers is 0.05-3 mm, and the composition of their ceramic materials substantially differ, a thermal expansion coefficient difference between at least one pair of adjacent layers being regulated to not higher than 2x10-6/~C. Even a thin plate of 2-10 mm in thickness which has a large size of not less than 100 cm is rarely warped and deformed, and it has excellent properties including a high flatness, a coefficient of water absorption of 0.5-10 % and a bending strength of not less than 350 kg/cm2. This thin flat ceramic plate can be used widely as an interior and exterior finishing material for buildings, a flooring material, a material for furniture, a plate material for household effects, such as a washstand and a system kitchen, a material for a top plate for a testing bench, a material for a counter, a material for various kinds of interior goods, a material for civil engineering, for example, a material for interior finishing plate for a tunnel, a material for scenic goods, such as a guide plate and a sign post, and a material for paintings, so that it has a large industrial value.

SOLUTION: This invention relates to a reinforcing material for roofs, made up of a fiber reinforced plastic, or FRP. The tensile strength of the material in the fiber arrangement direction is within the range of 500 to 4,000 MPa, and the tensile modulus of elasticity is within the range of 50 to 500 GPa or the linear expansion modulus difference with a roofing material is within 40×10-6 K-1, and it is partially adhered to at least one surface of the roof.

SOLUTION: This release film for a mold which is laminated to a mold for concrete molding, comprises an adhesive layer on one side of the film and is adhered to a stainless steel plate through the adhesive layer, the release film has an adhesive strength (S0) of 0.04-0.80 N/mm measured in peeling test in conformity to JIS Z-0237 after leaving in an atmosphere of relative humidity 60%, at 20 deg.C, for 30 min, and this invention provides a mold laminated with the release film and a method of manufacturing a concrete structure by placing concrete, curing and hardening using the mold.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a ceramic block excellent in bending strength and water permeability and fit for paving by specifying a chemical compsn. consisting of Al2 O3 , and SiO2 constituting a ceramic block consisting of aggregate and a binder for sintering. SOLUTION: When a chemical compsn. consisting of all constituent components of this ceramic block is represented by the Seger formula, Al2 O3 is 0.1-4.0, SiO2 is 1-25 and the ratio of SiO2 to Al2 O3 is 3-20. Since the difference between the m.p. of aggregate and that of a binder for sintering is controlled, the optimum firing temp. range can be widened, the aggregate is integrated with the binder, bending strength can be enhanced and firing at a low temp. is enabled. The compsn. on the surface of the aggregate varies continuously from the compsn. of only the aggregate toward the compsn. of only the binder. This water permeable block preferably has two-layered structure consisting of a surface layer and a base layer. When the compsn. of the base layer is represented by the Seger formula, it is preferable that Al2 O3 is 0.3-3.0, SiO2 is 2-20 and the ratio of SiO2 to Al2 O3 is 5-15.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain a ceramic plate which is excellent in strength and shock resistance, despite that it is thin, and has high dimension accuracy with warpage and deformation reduced by specifying the coefficient of thermal expansion in a ceramic plate of a multi-layered structure which is mainly made of ceramic materials. CONSTITUTION: In a ceramic plate which is mainly made of ceramic materials and has a three-layered structure, the coefficient of thermal expansion of the plate is adjusted not over 7×10 / deg.C, preferably not over 6.5×10 / deg.C, and the difference in the coefficient of thermal expansion between the adjacent layers is adjusted not over 2×10 / deg.C, preferably 0.2×10 -2×10 / deg.C, more preferably 0.5×10 -1×10 / deg.C. It is preferred that the coefficient of thermal expansion of the surface layer is adjusted smaller than that of the adjacent inner layer at least on one side surface layer. Further, the thickness of each layer is preferably made 0.05-2mm and the whole thickness of the fired product is more preferably set to 2-100mm.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain an extrusion molded article of a hydraulic composition having excellent mechanical properties by uniformly dispersing organic fibers as a reinforcing material. CONSTITUTION:This hydraulic composition is obtained by mixing an acidic raw material containing at least 30wt.% of a particulate component having >=10mum particle diameter with organic fibers, fibrillating the organic fibers, adding residual necessary components, pouring water while continuing stirring to produce an aggregate of a hydraulic composition, then extrusion molding the aggregate by a vacuum extrusion molding machine. Especially water is atomized and injected in a sprayed or showered state.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a production method capable of largely widening the extrusion width of the extrusion molding of a hydraulic composition, excellent in crack resistance of the extrusion-molded article, and enabling the increase of the strengths of the width direction and the extrusion direction of the article and the reduction of their variations. CONSTITUTION:At first, coarse silica powder having average particle diameter of >=100mum and a mixture of pulps are mixed and stirred to open the pulps. Then, this is compounded with fine silica powder, a hydraulic inorganic material and a reinforcing material and dispersed. The dispersed mixture is further compounded with an emulsion of an acrylic polymer containing carboxylic groups in the molecule and having an alkali-thickening property and mixed to obtain the hydraulic composition. In the extrusion molding apparatus, a taper-shaped flowing way 2 is placed between the front end 1a of a cylinder and a nozzle 3 and further a buffleplate 4 is placed at the boundary between the nozzle 3 and the taper-shaped flowing way 2. The buffleplate 4 serves to widen a hydraulic composition and at the same time homogenize the flow of the hydraulic composition.
