Abstract: A liquid absober provided with (a) a fiber sheet (18), which consists of a nonwoven fabric of three-dimensionally-intertwined fiber, where a polymeric elastic material is packed in the cavities in the nonwoven fabric, on a liquid absorbing portion thereof, and (b) a means for absorbing a liquid in this liquid absorbing portion. This liquid absorber has superior liquid absorbing power and liquid absorbtion sustaining power, and is capable of being squeezed uniformly.
