    Abstract: An FRP roof material which eliminates the possibility of occurrence of rusting, can provide a light weight and sufficiently high strength and rigidity, can deliver a high insulating feature, can contribute to an increase in earthquake-resistance of a building, and also can be formed in any highly attractive shape easily, characterized by comprising a sandwiched structural body in which a pair of plates (3a, 3b) made of FRP are disposed at an interval and rib structural bodies (4) connecting the pair of plates to each other are provided between them, wherein, when phenol resin is used as FRP matrix resin or refractory material is provided on the surface of the roof material, the roof material excellent also in fire resistance can be obtained and, in addition, when end parts of the material are butted against each other for connection, a resin diffusing medium is disposed between butted end faces, reinforcing fibers are disposed over the entire surface of both end face parts, and resin is filled into the resin diffusing medium so that the resin can be diffused to the reinforcing parts to assure connection.

    Abstract: An FRP structure body having a plurality of sheets of core material laminate d in a thickness direction and an FRP skin layer disposed on at least one side of the core material; an FRP structure body comprising a pair of spaced-apar t sheets, at least one sheet containing FRP, and a seamless, enclosed hollow core material contained in the space; production methods for these FRP structure bodies; and a method of repairing an FRP structure body, wherein, when a portion not impregnated with resin is found on the surface of the bod y, the non-impregnated portion is entirely covered with a bag base material, th e inside covered with the bag base material is vacuumized and resin is injecte d into the inside for impregnating into the non-resin-impregnated portion of a reinforcing fiber base material. A multiple-layer core structure allows an easy formation of a comparatively large FRP structure body having curved surfaces. An FRP structure body containing a seamless, enclosed hollow core material has lightweight and high-strength features and can be easily formed by a vacuum RTM method. The above repairing method permits an easy, low-cost repairing without sacrifice in strength to thereby reduce the production cos ts of an FRP structure body.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an RTM molding method by which a part not impregnated with resin is prevented from generating over the entire range required to be molded and an FRP molding of uniform and good quality molded using the method. SOLUTION: In the RTM molding method by which the resin is injected from one of the face sides of a core material with a groove formed on the surface and a reinforcing fiber arranged on the surface of the core material is impregnated with the resin while the resin is diffused through the groove, the core material having a through hole running through from one face on the resin injection side to the other face on the opposite side is used as the described core material as the characteristics of the method. Also the FRP molding obtained by using the RTM molding method is provided.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To nondestructively separate an org. crystal proof against an alkaline aq. soln. from an article with a hydrophilic surface adhered to the org. crystal by allowing a soln. based on the alkaline ag. soln. to act on a combined body consisting of the org. crystal and the article. CONSTITUTION:A combined body consisting of an org. crystal proof against an alkaline ag. soln. used at the time of separation and an article with a hydrophilic surface adhered to the org. crystal is used. The org. crystal is practically chemically stable to the soln., does not degenerate, has low solubility and does not practically cause surface leaching even by contact with the soln. at the time of separation. A soln. based on the alkaline aq. soln. is allowed to penetrate into the interface between the org. crystal and the article. By this method, the org. crystal can be simply and nondestructively separated from the article and a high quality org. crystal having desired surface properties, e.g. an org. nonlinear optical crystal is obtd.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide large absorbancy in a near infrared region and to enhance solubility and refletivity, by constituting a recording layer composed of at least one of a specific aluminum phthalocyanine derivative and a specific aluminum naphthalocyanine derivative. CONSTITUTION:In an optical recording medium performing recording and reading by semiconductor laser beam, a recording layer is formed of a layer composed of at least one of an aluminum phthalocyanine derivative represented by general formula (I) and an aluminum naphthalocyanine derivative represented by general formula (II). By this method, since the phthalocyanine derivative used in the recording layer is extremely well dissolved in a solvent not eroding a base plate, it is unnecessary to provide a bottom cost layer, and the recording medium can be prepared simply. Further, since this recording medium has large absorption in a near infrared region and high reflectivity, sensitivity is sufficiently high.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a substrate for optical recording which consists basically of a resin having excellent solvent resistance and flexibility and a process for producing said substrate by dissolving a specific hydrolyzate and hardener in a solvent selected from aliphat. lower alcohol, cellosolves and water and forming a film on the substrate by using this soln. CONSTITUTION:500g gamma-glycidoxypropyl trimethoxysilane is mixed with 500g methyl alcohol and while the mixture is stirred at a room temp., 60g 0.31N hydrochloric acid is dropped thereto. The soln. is further matured for several hours at a room temp. after the soln. is homogenized on progression of the hydrolysis to the transparent soln. upon completion of the dropping. The gamma- glycidoxypropyl trimethoxysilane hydrolyzate is hereunder briefly expressed as H-GPS. A coating liquid is then prepd. by using 100pts.wt. H-GPS and 1pt.wt. acetyl acetone aluminum salt which is a hardener in a method for preparing and coating the coating liquid. This coating liquid is coated on a polycarbonate substrate by a spin coating method and is cured by heating at 90 deg.C for 4hr. The substrate for optical recording having the excellent solvent resistance, flexibility, diffusion preventiveness of dyes, etc., is thereby obtd.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain an optical information recording medium having excellent durability and favorable recording characteristics, by composing a recording layer of a vapor- deposited film of an aluminum-based phthalocyanine compound, and performing heat mode bit forming type recording by semiconductor laser. CONSTITUTION:An aluminum-based phthalocyanine compound of the formula, wherein X is a halogen or hydroxyl and R is a halogen or hydrogen, has not only excellent durability but also higher reflectance and absorptivity as compared with those of other phthalocyanine derivatives. A vapor-deposited film of the aluminum-based phthalocyanine compound has an absorptivity of at least 20% at 780nm, and particularly, a vacuum-deposited film of the compound having a thickness of 500-5,000Angstrom can have an extremely high reflectance of at least 30% in addition to the high absorptivity. Therefore, a heat mode bit forming type optical information recording medium can be constructed with a single coloring matter layer. An effective use of the optical information recording medium may be based on a system wherein recording of the heat mode bit forming type is carried out by using semiconductor laser light in a wavelength range of 600-900nm, and reading is carried out by detecting as a signal a difference in reflected light intensity between bit parts and other parts on irradiation of the medium with the same semiconductor laser light.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an FRP cylinder no which creases are hardly generated, when the cylinder is molded by a VaRTM process. SOLUTION: A reinforcing fiber 2 is laminated on the surface of a molding die of a cylindrical shape 1 and a resin-diffused medium 3 made of a metal netting is arranged on the reinforcing fiber 2. After that, the medium 3 is covered with a film 6 and the inside of the film 6 is set at a lower pressure of not more than 0.6 torr than the atmospheric pressure. Finally, a resin is injected using a pressure difference so that the reinforcing fiber is impregnated with the resin.
