A SYNTHETIC RESIN POLYMER SAUCH AS POLYMER, POLYESTER AND POLYOLEFIN AND POLYETHER-POLYAMIDE BLOCK COPOLYMER ARE SHAPED IN A BLENDED CONDITION TO OBTAIN A SHAPED ARTICLE, IN THE SHAPED ARTICLE, THE BLOCK COPOLYMER IS DISPERSED IN THE FORM OF SLENDER PARTICLES AS AN INDEPENDENT PHASE WHEREIN THE LONGITUDINAL AXES OF THE PARTICLES ARE ARRANGED IN PARALLEL RELATIONSHIP WITH THE DIRECTION OF THE MOLECULAR ORIENTATION OF THE SHAPE ARTICLE,F AT LEAST 80% BY WEIGHT OF THE DIPERSED PARTICLES OF THE BLOCK COPOLYMER HAVE A DIAMETER AT CROSS SECTION OF NOR MORE THAN 1.0 MICRON AND A LENGTH IN THE DIRECTION OF LINGITUDINAL AXES AT LEAST 20 TIMES THE DIAMETER AT CROSS SECTION. Abstract:
PURPOSE:The twisting number of a yarn that is twisted by a twister with inclined rings is calculated from the diameter of the wound yarn and the length of the waves formed on the surface by the yarn, thus permitting the accurate measurement of the twisting number even when the yarn is monofilament. CONSTITUTION:When the twisting number of a yarn that is twisted by a twister with traveller rings 2 inclining to the shaft C of spindle 4 and wound around bobbin 5 is measured, wound yarn 6 is taken away from the twister and made troll on the surface coated with an adhesive to adhere yarn 1. At this time the yarn 1 adhere to the surface in the form of waves (W) and the length is measured (L in m). The value and the diameter (D in meter) of wound yarn 6 are applied to the equation to calculate the twisting number (n/m).
