Abstract:
FRICTIONALLY CHARGEABLE PROPERTY OF A SYNTHETIC RESIN COMPOSITION CONSISTING OF A POLYETHER-POLYAMIDE BLOC COPOLYMER BLENDED WITH ETHER SYNTHETIC RESINS IS REMARKABLY IMPROVED BY COEXISTENCE OF IONIC FUNCTIONAL GROUPS IN VERY SMALL AMOUNTS WHICH IS ACHIEVED BY ADDITION OF AN ORGANIC ELECTROLYTE. THIS SYNTHETIC RESIN COMPOSITION IS USED FOR THE PREPARATION OF FIBER, FILM AND SHAPED ARTICLES, AND IT IS ESPECIALLY USEFUL AS ONE COMPONENT OF A COMPOSITE FIBER.
Abstract:
A SYNTHETIC RESIN POLYMER SAUCH AS POLYMER, POLYESTER AND POLYOLEFIN AND POLYETHER-POLYAMIDE BLOCK COPOLYMER ARE SHAPED IN A BLENDED CONDITION TO OBTAIN A SHAPED ARTICLE, IN THE SHAPED ARTICLE, THE BLOCK COPOLYMER IS DISPERSED IN THE FORM OF SLENDER PARTICLES AS AN INDEPENDENT PHASE WHEREIN THE LONGITUDINAL AXES OF THE PARTICLES ARE ARRANGED IN PARALLEL RELATIONSHIP WITH THE DIRECTION OF THE MOLECULAR ORIENTATION OF THE SHAPE ARTICLE,F AT LEAST 80% BY WEIGHT OF THE DIPERSED PARTICLES OF THE BLOCK COPOLYMER HAVE A DIAMETER AT CROSS SECTION OF NOR MORE THAN 1.0 MICRON AND A LENGTH IN THE DIRECTION OF LINGITUDINAL AXES AT LEAST 20 TIMES THE DIAMETER AT CROSS SECTION. POLYMER BLEND SHAPED ARTICLES HAVING SUCH AN INTERNAL STRUCTURE HAVE VERY EXCELLENT PROPERTIES AS A SYNTHETIC RESIN AND ALSO EXCELLENT ANTISTATIC PROPERTIES.
Abstract:
PLANOGRAPHIC PRINTING PLATE FOR DIRECT PRINTING A planographic printing plate suitable for direct printing is described, which comprises a support having (or made of) a rubber layer, a photosensitive resin layer laminated on the support and a silicone rubber layer laminated on the photosensitive resin layer. Preferably, a barrier layer is formed between the support and the photosensitive resin layer.
Abstract:
Permselective membranes are prepared by crosslinking synthetic organic polyamides or polyhydrazides having -CO2H groups and/or -SO3H groups with a salt of metal selected from the class consisting of alkaline earth metals, transition metals, aluminum group metals and lead group metals.

1,204,944. Conjugate filaments. TOYORAYON K.K. 24 May, 1968 [3 June, 1967], No. 25081/68. Heading B5B. In a conjugate filament having two fibreforming polymer components in intimate adherence along the length of the filament, one component is a synthetic polyamide and the other a polymer blend of (i), a polyamide and (ii) a block copolymer comprising polyamide segments and 15 to 85 wt. per cent of polyether segments, the latter being present in an amount of 0À1 to 10 wt. per cent in the composite filament. The two components may be in side by side or sheath and core relationship. The polymers are melt-spun, and the resulting filament is cold-drawn.
