    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a fiber material readily removing stain from which an oil stain after allowing to stand can be simply removed by home washing and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: This fiber material readily removing stain is a fiber structure coated with at least two layers of soil release layers in which the inner layer of the soil release layers is composed of a resin layer consisting essentially of a hydrophilic polyester and the outer layer is composed of a resin layer consisting essentially of one or more kinds of hydrophobic polymers removable by washing. This method for producing the fiber material readily removing stain comprises impregnating a liquid containing the resin consisting essentially of the hydrophilic polyester into a fiber structure, heat-treating the fiber structure to stick the resin to the fiber structure, impregnating a liquid containing the resin consisting essentially of one or more kinds of the hydrophobic polymers into the fiber structure and drying the fiber structure.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a material whose oil stains adhered thereto after left to stand can readily be removed by domestic washing, and to provide a method for producing such a material. SOLUTION: This material is a fibrous structural material imparted with at least two compounds: a compound A based on a hydrophilic resin and a compound B based on an oil with affinity for water. The other objective method for producing the above material comprises the following process: a fibrous structural material is immersed in a liquid containing the compound A followed by heat treatment to effect solidification of the compound A, which is thus set on the fibrous structural material, and the resulting fibrous structural material is immersed in a liquid containing the compound B followed by drying to effect imparting the fibrous structural material with the compound B; alternatively, a fibrous structural material is immersed in a liquid containing both the compounds A and B followed by heat treatment to effect solidification of the compound A and setting it on and simultaneously allowing the compound B to adhere to the fibrous structural material.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a lightweight hollow false twist textured yarn scarcely causing convection of air in the interior of clothes, excellent in heat insulating properties and suitable for outers, etc., by carrying out false twist texturing of a specific core-sheath type conjugate fiber, then eluting a part of a water-soluble polymer arranged in the core part and forming a hollow part. SOLUTION: A core-sheath type conjugate fiber prepared by arranging a polymer such as a copolyester of a polyalkylene glycol and a metal sulfoisophthalate soluble in water at >=20 deg.C in a core part and a thermoplastic polymer such as a polyester having fiber-forming properties and comprising ethylene terephthalate as a main recurring unit in (20/80) to (50/50) conjugate ratio (wt.%) of the core part/sheath part is false twist textured and at least a part of the water-soluble polymer arranged in the core part is then eluted in a water bath at 20-140 deg.C to form a hollow part. Thereby, a hollow false twist textured yarn having 20-50% stretch recovery ratio, 20-50% percentage of hollowness of fiber cross-sectional area and a dead air structure in which the hollow part does not communicate with the outside air except the fiber ends is obtained.
