    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide crosslinked foam excellent in heat resistance, moldability and pressure resistance while retaining perpendicular uniformity in quality by formulating to a resin composition a specific compound which is difficult to be influenced by the strength distribution of irradiating energy by ionizing radiation. SOLUTION: This polypropylene-based resin composition for foamingly crosslinking contains (A) 30-90 wt.% polyolefin-based resin having 0.5-5 g/(10 min) MFR(melt flow ratio), (B) 10-70 wt.% polyethylene-based resin having 1-20 g/(10 min) MFR, (C) 1-10 pts.wt. di(meth)acrylate compound of the formula [A is a CnH2n+1; B is a C2nH4n+1; X is H or CH3; (n) is 1-3] and (D) 1-10 pts.wt. thermally decomposable chemical foaming agent both based on 100 pts.wt. of the total quantity of the ingredients A and B.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deteriorated polymer generated from the inside of a nozzle from sticking on a sheet-like article extruded from the nozzle by applying a composite film of a nickel-phosphorous alloy and a fluororesin on an extrusion liq. contacting part of the nozzle in manufacturing of a plastic sheet. SOLUTION: A composite film 3 of a nickel-phosphorous alloy and a fluororesin is applied on the whole face of an extrusion liq. contacting part of a nozzle. For this purpose, the surface of an article to be treated is cleaned by shot blast wherein steel balls collide with the surface at high speed. Then, electrolessly plating wherein electrons discharged by oxidation of a reducing agent change metal ions into a metal film to form a rigid and porous nickel- phosphorous alloy film is performed. Then, heat treatment is performed to obtain higher surface hardness. Then, this film is impregnated with the fluororesin and heat treatment is performed e.g. at 300-400 deg.C for calcining the fluororesin.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyolefinic resin bridged foaming substance the surface of which is flat and smooth, and excellent in compression property. SOLUTION: A polyolefinic resin bridged foaming substance and a preparation method thereof comprise: after forming a foaming substance obtained by introducing a foaming resin composition which consists of a polyolefinic resin composition capable of bridging by electron beam irradiation added with an additive obtained by adsorbing and carrying a liquid substance having boiling point of 130-160 deg.C on a porous-structured powder and a heat-decomposable foaming chemical, into an extruder set around the boiling point of the liquid substance and at a lower temperature than that of the decomposition of the heat- decomposable foaming chemical, bridging it by irradiation of electron beam followed by foaming by introducing into a foaming apparatus set at 10-50 deg.C higher temperature than that of decomposition of the heat-decomposable foaming chemical.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain crosslinked foams excellent in heat resistance, molding processability and pressure resistance, particularly while retaining consistent quality in the thickness direction by incorporating a specific compound which is difficult to be affected by the intensity distribution of irradiation energy of ionizing radiation. SOLUTION: Crosslinking foaming polypropylene based resin compositions comprise 100 pts.wt. of (a) 30-90 wt.% polypropylene based resin having an MFR of 0.5-5 g/10 min and (b) 10-70 wt.% polyethylene based resin having an MFR of 1-20 g/10 min, (c) 1-10 pts.wt. di(meth)acrylate compound represented by the formula (wherein n is 1-3; and X and Y are each H or CH3), and (d) 1-10 pts.wt. heat decomposable chemical blowing agent.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To effectively detect vent-up at-the initial stage without inconvenience such as the decrease or disabling of the detecting function by providing the detecting end of a heat radiation type flow switch in the vent chamber of an extruder. CONSTITUTION: An openable cover 6 is hinge-coupled to a vent chamber 5, and a transparent glass 7 is so mounted as to see through the chamber 5. A vacuum pump 9 for sucking gas from the chamber 5 is connected to the chamber 5 via a suction tube 8, and substantially always operated during the operating of an extruder 1. The detecting end 11 of a heat radiation type flow switch 10 is disposed in the chamber 5. The switch 10 is fixed at its body to the cover 6. A detection signal from the switch 10 is sent to an alarm unit 13 via a cable 12 to generate an alarm at the time of vent-up.
