Provided is a polyester with excellent heat resistance, which has small decrease in the intrinsic viscosity during melt molding. A polyester which is obtained from a diol and a dicarboxylic acid and/or an ester-forming derivative thereof and which is characterized in that a component derived from 1,2-propane diol is contained in the polyester in an amount of 15-500 ppm.

poliéster obtido a partir de um ácido dicarboxílico e/ou um derivado formador de éster do mesmo e um diol, moldes produzidos a partir de um poliéster, diol, método de fabricação para um diol e método de fabricação para poliéster trata-se de um poliéster que tem excelente termostabilidade com somente uma pequena redução na viscosidade intrínseca durante a moldagem por fusão. um poliéster obtido a partir de um ácido dicarboxílico e/ou um derivado formador de éster do mesmo e um diol que é caracterizado pelo fato de que contém 15 a 500 ppm de um componente derivado de 1,2-propanodiol.

Abstract:
Disclosed is a process for producing a polyester composition which can be obtained by polycondensation of a dicarboxylic acid or ester-forming derivative thereof and a diol or ester-forming derivative thereof in presence of a polycondensation catalyst, in which a polyester having a good color tone can be obtained by adding a specific phosphorus compound after a polycondensation catalyst is added and pressure reduction in polymerization reactor is started and before the polycondensation of the polyester is substantially completed, and at a time in which the polyester reaches 75% or more of the intrinsic viscosity to be finally reached in said polymerization reactor.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyester polymerization catalyst which gives polyesters little containing foreign matters and having good color tones, and to provide a method for producing the polyester in the presence of the same. SOLUTION: This polyester polymerization catalyst is a product obtained by reacting a titanium compound with a sulfonic acid compound represented by formula 1 and a phosphorous compound. Therein, (p) is 1; (q) is 1 or 2; X is H or an atom selected from an atom group belonging to alkali metals; Ar is an aromatic ring; R is H or a 1 to 30C hydrocarbon group; R is H or a 1 to 30C hydrocarbon group.
