    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horizontal continuous condensation polymerization apparatus which enables obtaining high quality polymers by improving productivity by speeding up the reaction rate of polymerization and, simultaneously, inhibiting formation of denatured products.     Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the adhesion of granules to the inner wall of a drier by forming a polyester granule path between a rotor and a screen in a fusion preventing device. CONSTITUTION:When polyester granules are loaded from a supply port 1 of a fusion preventing device by a fixing amount, the granules are fed in between a rotor 4 and a screw 7 by a transporting screw 3 that has been previously rotated. The granules are rubbed with each other between the rotor 4 with projection rotating at high speed and the octagonal screen 7. After the surfaces of the granules are crystallized by the rubbing action, the granules are discharged from a discharge port 8. Air from an air supply port 10 is blown from slits through the inside of the screw 3 and the inside of the rotor 4, whereby powder produced by the rubbing action is discharged from a discharge port 11 through slits of the screen 7. Therefore, the fusion of the granules to the inner wall of a drier and to each other can be prevented by their crystallization.
