Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide the titled apparatus capable of sufficiently sure cutting and suction of even a multi-filament yarn, by integrating a transfer means and a receiving means to a bracket, providing a yarn-cutting means and a cut-assisting means and placing a yarn-suction means above the receiving means. CONSTITUTION:An air cylinder 2 is attached to one end of a bracket 1. A cutter 5 is attached to the tip end of a piston 3 and a receiving member 4 is attached to the other end of the bracket 1. An aspirator 7 is provided above the receiving member 4. When either one of the spun yarns Y1-Y4 is broken, the aspirator 7 is energized and, at the same time, compressed air is supplied to the air cylinder 2. A yarn-catching guide 8 is moved while catching the yarn and the yarn is cut off when edges 5A, 5B of the cutter 5 reach an edge- receiving block 6 and is sucked with the aspirator.
