Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that an IC board, etc., are accidentally operated by the magnetism possessed by a conventional metal material itself by forming the balls used for ball game machines, such as pin ball machines, of ceramics. SOLUTION: The ceramics is used as the blank of the balls for the ball game machines. The ceramics which has hardness of >=1000kgf/mm in Vickers hardness and strength of >=30kgf/mm is used as the ceramics in terms of wear resistance and preventing the destruction induced by collision against another materials during movement. The surface roughness is specified to =1×10 Ωcm in terms of preventing the malfunction of electronic parts. Aluminum oxide, zirconium oxide, silicon nitride and silicon carbide are preferably used as such ceramics.
