Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deterioration of the performance of separation membrane elements and make control and maintenance easy by individually installing a power unit to pump up raw water and increase pressure and a separation membrane unit. SOLUTION: To pump up raw water from a water source, a raw water pump 13 driven by an engine, a manually-driven pump 15, an externally portable type pump 9, and a pump 11 of a fire engine can be selectively employed and a raw water pump 13 directly connected with an engine 14 is mounted on a sub-frame of a power unit equipped with casters for transportation. A check valve 16, a relief valve 19, a prefilter 20 for filtration, etc., are installed in the power unit and at the same time an aspirator 34, a sterilizer bottle 37, etc., are installed to add a sterilizer to the drinking water produced by the separation membrane unit. On the other hand, a separation membrane unit produced by uniting a plurality of spiral modules in series is used as the separation membrane unit and connected with the power unit through one-touch joints 23, 25; 31; 33 in a freely detachable manner.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply raw water instantly by connecting a plurality of cartridges filled with filter materials in parallel by a pair of connector, installing a flow route closing member in a connector having a fluid intake and outlet in a manner that the joined parts of the cartridges are divided, and installing raw water supplying means which can be driven manually or by an engine. SOLUTION: A plurality of cylindrical activated carbon cartridges 30 and a plurality of hollow yarn membrane cartridges 31 are mutually communicated and joined in parallel through a pair of connectors 32, 33. A flow route closing plate 39 is so installed in an upper part connector 32, which has a cap 37 having flow inlet for an object fluid to be filtered and a cap 38 having a flow outlet, as to sandwich the cartridges 30, 31. Moreover, as a raw water supplying means, a pump 9 to be driven manually and a pump 10 to be driven by an engine 11 are arranged in parallel. A sterilization agent-containing bottle 23 is connected with an outlet of a water purifying apparatus 16 through an aspirator 20. Check valves are respectively installed in both of the pumps 9, 10 to prevent inverse flow and the mechanism is simplified to make switching operation unnecessary. As a result, sterilized water can be instantly obtained.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to acquire potable water in the event of a disaster or emergency by disposing an input drivable means which pumps up raw water and boosts the raw water to a high pressure and a means for separately accepting the raw water of the high pressure in parallel and providing the inside of a raw water piping with a separating membrane. SOLUTION: This machine has the means 9 for pumping up the raw water and boosting the raw water to the high pressure. The means bypasses the raw water without functioning in case the means receives the supply of the pressurized raw water from a portable type engine pump 24, etc. The front of a hose is provided with a strainer 1 as an intake port for the raw water and is provided with a float 3 for setting the raw water intake port at a prescribed depth of water. In addition, the strainer is detained to an anchor 7 by means of a rope 6. A prefilter 11 of a fiber winding type and a reverse osmosis membrane module unit 14 are successively disposed in the raw water piping 10. A sterilizing agent in a sterilizing agent bottle 23 is sucked out through a sterilizing agent tube 21 to an aspirator 20 and is incorporated into the produced water at the time of water feeding.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the column for producing ultra-pure water which easily produces the high-purity water extremely approximate to the theoretically pure water at a high velocity of flow and obviates the fresh elution of impurities by integrating a UV lamp, ion exchanger, precision filter membrane and/or ultrafilter membrane in this order. CONSTITUTION:The water to be treated is irradiated with UV rays 4 and the org. impurities contained therein are decomposed by oxidation. The org. acids and carbon dioxide formed by the oxidation decomposition and the other impurities in the water to be treated are then treated by the ion exchanger 6 and are further subjected to the final filtration by the precision filter membrane and/or ultrafilter membrane 9. The ultra-pure water is thus obtd. without using piping systems for transferring the water to the ensuing stages. The need for pipings and joints is eliminated by the above-mentioned integration and, therefore, the extremely compact column for producing the ultra-pure water is provided. In addition, the degradation in the water quality by the pollution with the impurities eluted from the members, etc., are prevented.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a fluid ejector and an emergency water generator by metal, fabricate them by resin, and reduce a manufacturing cost by constituting them of a case and an ejector main body, forming an outer periphery of an intermediate part of the ejector main body as a diameter smaller than an outer periphery of both end parts, and boring a fluid sucking pore in a small diameter part. SOLUTION: A case 10 has a vacuum port 8, a fluid supply port 6 and a blowout port 7, and forms a communicating passage. The passage to the blowout port 7 from the fluid supply port 6 is desirable to be a cylindrical shape having no projection or the like since an ejector is incorporated. On the other hand, the vaccum port 8 is almost vertically arranged, and sucks fluid. An ejector main body 11 is formed as a structure having a nozzle part to squeeze the fluid and a diffuser part communicated with the other end, and an outer periphery of an intermediate part of the ejector main body 11 is formed as a diameter smaller than an outer periphery of both end parts. A fluid sucking pore 13 is bored in a small diameter part. The ejector main body 11 is fitted to and installed in the case 10, and secures airtightness. Reduction in a manufacturing cost can be expected in both metallic and resin products.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make compact an emergency fresh water generator for supplying potable water in case of a disaster or an emergency by making an engine or the like a power source to drive a means for drawing raw water and a means for boosting the pressure oaf raw water to a high one and purifying the raw water with a separation membrane. SOLUTION: As an intake for taking in raw water, that having a strainer 1 at the tip of a hose 8 is used. And as a means 9 for drawing raw water, since it performs a function of introducing raw water into a body of an emergency fresh water generator from water sources such as sea, rivers, pools and emergency water storage tanks, a self-priming pump is preferably used, and also a high pressure pump 11 for boosting the pressure of raw water to a high one is used, and as a power source for them, an engine 14 is used. And the driving force is transmitted to the raw water pump 9 from a coaxial pulley 15 through a belt 18 and to the high pressure pump 11 from a coaxial pulley 15 through a belt 19. And in order to restrain the pulsation of a water flow, an accumulator 22 is installed, and on the downstream side thereof, a reverse osmosis membrane module 24 is arranged to purify the raw water.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a back washing improved in flow rate and water pressure by providing a flow passage shut-off part in one connector and a washing water discharge port in an other connector of a pair of connectors in which plural cartridges incorporated respectively with an activated carbon at a preceding stage and a hollow fiber at a post stage are connected in parallel. SOLUTION: The flow passage shut-of part 39 is fitted freely detachably to the upper part connector 32 provided with fluid inlet/outlet 37 and 38 at its both ends in the upper part connectors 32 and 33 in which plural activated carbon cartridges 30 are connected at the preceding stage and the hollow fiber membrane cartridge 31 is connected at the post stage in parallel so that a connecting part of the cartridges 30 and 31 differ in kind may be separated. ON the other hand, the washing water discharge port 43 is disposed at the lower part connector 33, and a washing water discharge line is connected to the port, but the position of the discharge port 43 is kept at the boundary part of the activated carbon cartridge 30 and the hollow fiber membrane cartridge 31. Then the back washing is realized by shutting a raw water supplying at the inlet side of this water purifier and providing a line changeover means capable of discharging a back washing water.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an intake apparatus capable of setting a raw water intake port at a predetermined water depth position by providing a strainer, a pipe taking out taken-in water and a float. SOLUTION: As an intake port for taking in water, a strainer 1 made of a plastic net or a metal net pref. having about 10-50 mesh is provided to the leading end of a hose. In order to set this raw water intake port at a predetermined water depth position, a float 3 and a wt. are provided. The float 3 has a cylindrical or doughnut like shape composed of foam or a hollow member and a pipe-shaped intake pipe also used as a pole achieves the function thereof. The float 3 is pierced through this pole 4 to adjust buoyancy balance. An air vent is provided to the pipe hole of the pole 4 and, further, an air vent valve 9 using a non-return cone is provided to the air vent. When raw water is sucked from the near sea or rivers in case of emergency at a time of disaster, it is prevented that waste refuse on the surface of water or the precipitate on the bottom of water is sucked.
