Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and equipment for manufacturing a thermoplastic resin sheet which enable reduction of a defect of the thermoplastic resin sheet, regulation of a change in position of an electrode, and reduction of the nonuniformity in thickness as a defect of the sheet, in regard to an electrostatic impression casting method. SOLUTION: In regard to a method, a thermoplastic resin is extruded in the shape of a sheet from a diehead and brought into closed contact with a cooling drum in the electrostatic impression casting method, and a sheet-shaped material thus obtained is solidified by cooling for molding. An electrostatic charge is given to the sheet-shaped material by using a tape-shaped electrode, and also the change in position of the tape-shaped electrode is regulated by using a guide slit in the present method for manufacturing the thermoplastic resin sheet. The equipment for manufacturing the thermoplastic resin sheet has the tape-shaped electrode for giving the electrostatic charge to the sheet- shaped material and the guide slit for regulating the change in position of this electrode.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for manufacturing a thermoplastic resin sheet which does not cause a flaw in the sheet and improves its molding stability in the manufacture of the sheet by an electrostatic application and cooling process as well as a method for manufacturing the sheet. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the thermoplastic resin sheet using the electrostatic application and cooling process, the device for manufacturing the thermoplastic resin sheet is of such a structure that the lower end face of a tape-like electrode wound around a reel on the electrode pay-off side, is paid off from the reel without coming into contact with whatever object positioned right under the lower end face. Also, the method for manufacturing the sheet is provided.
