CONSTITUTION:In a cover material for an agricultural house wherein an antistaining layer is provided on one surface of a fluoroplastic film and a drip- proof layer is provided on the other surface thereof, the antistaining layer is composed of a compsn. based on at least one selected from a polymeric adhesive and a cationic polymer (a) and an aq. resin and sulfonated polystyrene and/or a salt thereof (b).

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a surface protection film excellent in ultraviolet blocking properties and thermal lamination properties and also having antistatic properties and coloring properties by providing a coating layer based on an ultraviolet absorbing acrylic resin on the surface of a fluoroplastic film and further providing a thermal adhesive resin layer on the coating layer. CONSTITUTION:A coating film based on an ultraviolet absorbing acrylic resin is provided on the surface of the fluoroplastic film and a thermal adhesive resin layer is further provided on the coating layer. The fluoroplastic resin film is pref. based on an ethylene/tetrafluoroethylene copolymer and, when the coating layer is formed on the surface of the fluoroplastic film, surface treatment or undercoat treatment is pref. applied to the fluoroplastic film. The ultraviolet absorbing acrylic resin is a copolymer consisting of a reactive benzophenone compd. and an acrylic monomer having a polymerizable unsaturated group. A vinyl chloride resin or a polymethacrylic resin is used in the thermal adhesive resin layer.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prepare the title film having uniform surface projections with few coarse projections and excellent slipperiness, running properties, etc., by compounding poly-p-phenylene sulfide with two kinds of inert fine particles each in a specified amt. CONSTITUTION:Poly-p-phenylene sulfide is compounded with 0.05-2wt.% first component comprising inert fine particles A having a mean particle diameter ratio (major diameter to minor diameter) of 1.0-2.5, a mean particle diameter of 0.01-2.0mum, and a relative standard deviation of particle diameter expressed by equations I and II [wherein Di is an equivalent diameter (mum) of equal-area circle of each particle; D is a mean equivalent diameter (mum) of equal-area circle; and n is the number of particles] of 1.0 or lower (e.g. vaterite CaCO3), and 0.01-1wt.% second component comprising inert fine particles B having a mean particle diameter ratio of 1.0-2.5 and a mean particle diameter of 1.5-3.0 times that of the particles A (e.g. vaterite CaCO3).

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve interlayer adhesion force, thermal laminating properties, antistatic properties, coloring, ultraviolet cutting properties, etc., by providing chloride and polymethacrylate resin layer on a coating layer provided at least on one side surface of a base material layer containing ethylene-ethylene tetrafluoride copolymer as a main ingredient. CONSTITUTION:A surface protective film comprises a coating layer provided at least on one side surface of a base material layer containing ethylene-ethylene tetrafluoride copolymer as a main ingredient, and vinyl chloride resin layer, a polymethacrylic resin layer provided on the coating layer. Further, when the coating layer is formed on the surface of the material layer, it is surface treated thereby to improve not only coating properties but also adhesive properties, water resistance, solvent resistance, etc., of the coating layer. The treatment includes, for example, corona discharging, plasma treatment, alkaline metal solution treatment, high-frequency sputter etching, etc. The acrylic copolymer treatment in which its hydroxyl group value is 40 or more or preferably 45 or more is preferable at points of adhesive properties with the material layer, coating film forming properties, easy adhesive properties, etc.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the electrical insulating properties of the subject film by forming a film from poly-p-phenylene sulfide resin pellets contg. inert fine particles having a mean value and a relative standard deviation of the equivalent diameter of equal-area circle as calculated by a specific equation and a specified particle diameter ratio. CONSTITUTION:Inert fine particles, e.g. vaterite CaCO3, are dispersed in a liq. boiling at 180-290 deg.C, e.g. ethylene glycol, to give a slurry contg. the particles having a particle diameter ratio of 1.0-2.5, a relative standard deviation of the equivalent diameter of equal-area circle as calculated by equation I [wherein Di is an equivalent diameter (mum) of equal-area circle of particles; D is a mean value (mum) of the equivalent diameter calculated by equation II; and (n) is the number of particles] of 1.0 or lower, and a mean value of the equivalent diameter of 0.05-3.0mum. The slurry is mixed with a poly-p-phenylene sulfide powder and extruded on a vented extruder to give pellets contg. 0.01-2wt.% the particles, which are extruded into a film and biaxially oriented, thus giving the objective film.
