    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the time of releasing a film off a substrate, manufacture the film at a high speed, improve the corrosion and winding properties of a substrate and improve the productivity at a low cost by laminating another layer of another specified value of a metal ion content at least on one face of a layer of a specified value of a metal ion content. SOLUTION: A film is a laminated film formed of two layers or more, and constituted of a layer A containing 2-1,000 ppm meal ions, on one face of which a layer B of less than 2 ppm metal ion content is laminated. When the metal ion content of the layer A is less than 2 ppm, the film is easily charged to form a defective winding shape, while when the content therein is beyond 1,000 ppm, the film is short of flexibility and the elongation is smaller and easily to be cut to cause the lowering of yield. When the metal ion content is less than 2 ppm, the release properties of the film off a substrate is good in the manufacture of the film to shorten the drying time and improve the film manufacturing rate, while when the content is 2 ppm or more, the release properties become worse. Thus the good release properties and winding properties of the film for the substrate are provided to carry out the high speed film manufacture, the corrosion of the substrate is hard to be generated, productivity is superior and the cost is low.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic recording medium suitable for high capacitance, in which electromagnetic conversion characteristics and dimensional stability under high tension are excellent and a reading error at the time of regeneration is difficult to be caused in the case of being used as the magnetic recording medium. SOLUTION: At least unidirectional tensile modulus is >=7 GPa and coefficient of plane orientation is =0.8. In a shrinkage factor γ1 in the lateral direction when a film is stretched by 1% in the longitudinal direction and a shrinkage factor γ10 in the lateral direction when the film is stretched by 10%, γ1/γ10 =50 mol%, is desirable and the aromatic polyamide containing the repeating unit at >= 70 mol% is more desirable. Wherein, for example, Ar1, Ar2 and Ar3 are shown by formula III. X and Y are selected from among -O-, -CH2-, -CO-, -SO2-, -S-, -C(CH3)2- or the like but do not limited by these.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable good surface properties and flatness at a high speed by making a solvent having compatibility with an organic polymer exist between a support and an organic polymer solution film to be cast. SOLUTION: An organic polymer solution is extruded by a T-die 1, and it is supported by a cast drum 7. A solvent having compatibility with the organic polymer is made to exist between an organic polymer solution film 5 extruded from the T-die 1 and the drum 7 by a solvent adding device B, which is installed upstream from the T-die 1 and made movable by a press mechanism 3 to enable its position to be adjusted. The solvent is added onto a support by the contact with the drum 7. The solvent having compatibility forms the solution of the polymer of at least 1 wt.% at an ordinary temperature. In this way, even in the case of a thin film, good surface properties and flatness can be made possible at a high speed.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare an aromatic polyamide film capable of forming into a magnetic recording medium having simultaneously excellent electromagnetic transducing characteristics, traveling properties and durability by regulating the characteristics of the surface of the film.     Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce a bowing phenomenon by a simplified process, to uniformize physical properties in a lateral direction and to reduce a heat shrinkage factor by setting the degree of crystallization of a plastic resin before lateral stretching to a specific value and setting lateral stretching temp. to the range from the temp.- up crystallizing temp. of the plastic resin to the m.p. thereof. CONSTITUTION:The degree of crystallization of a plastic resin before lateral stretching is set to a range of 15-50% and the lateral stretching temp. thereof is set to the range from the temp.- up crystallizing temp. Tcc of the plastic resin to the m.p. thereof. As the plastic resin, a polyester resin is especially pref. from the aspect of excellent mechanical properties and thermal properties but a homopolymer or a copolymer may be used within a range not damaging crystallizability. As a copolymerizing component, polyethylene terephthalate and polyethylene-2,6 naphthalate are especially pref. from the aspect of mechanical strength, heat resistance, chemical resistance and durability. Lateral stretching is performed by a tenter inclusive of simultaneous biaxial stretching. Lateral stretching temp. is pref. set to Tcc+10 deg.C to Tm-20 deg.C.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To manufacture a polyester film, in which the bleed-out of an oligomer is reduced extremely, even when the film is exposed at a high temperature for a prolonged term by bringing a biaxially oriented polyester film into contact with a roll once, thermally treating the film further thermally treating the film by a tenter for holding both end sections. CONSTITUTION:A polyester film casted is heated by a roll, oriented by approximately 2.5-7 times at one stage or multistages in the longitudinal direction, cooled once, gripped by clips again and heated in a tenter, and oriented by approximately 2.5-6 times in the cross direction. A cross orientation temperature TTD or higher is used as a roll heat treatment temperature, and a temperature range of TTD+80 deg. or lower, preferably TTD+50 deg.C or lower is favorable. Accordingly, a film, which has excellent thermal dimensional stability and quality of which is equalized in the cross direction, is obtained.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a film keeping excellent cracking resistance and excellent in ply separation resistance by specifying the surface orientation collapse index of the film and the F5 value in all directions within the plane of the film. CONSTITUTION:In a biaxially stretched polyester film, the surface orientation collapse index of the film is set to 5 or more, pref. to 10 or more and the min. value of the F5 value in all directions within the plane of the film is set to 7kg/mm or more, pref., to 10kg/mm or more. In order to obtain the biaxially stretched polyester film having these characteristics, the degree of crystallization of the film before biaxial stretching is set to 15-50%, pref., to 25-40%. The non-stretched film of which the degree of crystallization is set to 15-50% is heated by a heating roll at 100-160 deg.C and stretched longitudinally by 2-5 times over one stage or many stages to be cooled by a roll group held to 20-70 deg.C.
