Abstract: PURPOSE:The titled composition having improved mechanical characteristics such as impact strength, etc., and extremely improved appearance of molded article, obtained by blending an aromatic polyester with a specific modified ethylenic copolymer and a specified amide compound. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. aromatic polyester (e.g., polybutylene terephthalate, etc.) having 1.15-2 relative viscosity is blended with (A) 1-100pts.wt., preferably 3-50pts.wt. modified ethylenic copolymer obtained by grafting 0.01-10wt% unsaturated carboxlic acid (derivative) (e.g., maleic acid, etc.) onto an unmodified ethylenic copolymer having and R are 1-30C bifunctional hydrocarbon; R and R are 1-30C monofunctional hydrocarbon; R is 10-40C monofunctional hydrocarbon; R is H, etc.).
