    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the utilizing efficiency of a channel by controlling the degree of appearance of transmission interval between transmission timing signals in response to the length of same information signal even when plural terminal stations are going to send an information signal of nearly the same length in the same time zone. CONSTITUTION:A central station 21 is provided with a means 12 sending plural transmission timing signals at plural different transmission intervals, and means 14, 15 monitoring the traffic of a burst signal sent by plural terminal stations 22 respectively. Each of plural terminal stations 22 is provided with a means 33 discriminating plural different transmission intervals of the received transmission timing signal and a means 36 sending the information signal in response to the transmission interval of the sent timing signal as a burst signal based on the result of discrimination. The central station 21 controls the rate of appearance of the different transmission interval between plural transmission timing signals from the traffic of the burst signal. Thus, in sending the packet of various length, the channel utilizing efficiency is improved without requiring a complicated equipment.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To highly stabilize a receiving circuit and at the same time, to reduce the cost of the circuit by constituting the 1st and 2nd band-pass filters of electromechanical filters and equivalently constituting the 3rd band-pass filter by using an adder which takes the sum of the transmitting outputs of the 1st and 2nd filters. CONSTITUTION:A transmitted RF signal (FSK-modulated wave) is frequency-converted into an IF signal through an amplifier 21, band-pass filter 22 of an LC, amplifier 23 which is also used for adjusting receiving gain and mixer 24 and inputted in an SAW filter 26. The SAW filter 26 is composed of the 1st band-pass filter 26a which passes frequency components near a frequency f1 only and the 2nd band-pass filter 26b which passes frequency components near another frequency f2. The filters 26a and 26b are formed on the same base plate in such a way that their phase characteristics and group delay frequency characteristics can be made constant, and their transmitting outputs are compared with each other by means of a comparator 31 after respectively passing through amplifiers 27 and 28 and envelope detecting circuits 29 and 30, and thus, a demodulated out RXD is obtained. On the other hand, this receiving circuit simultaneously performs collision and its transmitting output is led to an adder 32.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To attain the detection of collision on a carrier band transmission line at each MODEM by deciding a modulation parameter so that the period of a beat signal of a carrier band signal transmitted from plural MODEMs is the same degree as the bit time intervals of a base band signal or below.
    CONSTITUTION: A transmission data comprising the base band signal given from a high-order protocol device via an interface line or a signal coding the said signal is inputted to an FM modulator 11 of an MODEM6, where the signal is frequency-modulated and the result is transmitted to a transmission line 12 via a band pass filter 12 and a transmission amplifier 13. That is, the transmission data is modulated into a carrier band signal having a frequency shift and transmitted to a transmission line 1. Further, a level detector 17 detects the level of the received carrier band signal and the level specific to the beat signal produced by collision, and is energized by the detection of collision and generates a collision detection signal comprising a pulse in 10MHz. This collision detecting signal is given to the high-order protocol device and the generation of collision on the transmission line 1 is informed.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To always monitor the quality of a circuit with no insertion of a specific signal for check of the circuit quality by performing the soft decision (multi-value decision) of the output of a demodulator to obtain reliability degree data on each information bit and to carry out statistic processing by an amount equal to an information bit string of prescribed length and deciding the circuit quality. CONSTITUTION:A soft deciding circuit 1 gives the soft decision (multi-value decision) to an analog output signal of a demodulator and outputs soft decision data. A bit reliability degree calculation circuit 3 converts the soft decision data into the reliability degree data to show the reliability degree of each information bit. A bit string reliability degree calculation circuit 4 performs the statistic processing of said reliability degree by an amount equal to the number of bits of the prescribed length and converts in into the reliability degree data of an information bit string of the prescribed length. A circuit quality deciding circuit 5 refers to said reliability degree data on the information bit string to decide whether the circuit quality higher or lower than a prescribed level and outputs the result of this decision. Thus it is not required to insert a specific signal for check of the circuit quality into the transmission data. Therefore, the circuit quality is monitored with no deterioration in transmission efficiency.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a frequency shift keying (FSK) modulator which is highly stable, has a narrow band, and does not required any adjustment and, at the same time, to prevent the complication of the constitution, by obtaining an FSK-modulated wave by switching two kinds of carriers, between both of which a prescribed frequency difference is secured and both of which are phase- synchronized to a data signal to be modulated, in accordance with the value of the data signal to be modulated. CONSTITUTION:A frequency divider 11 divides a clock signal CLK into four parts and produces the 1st carrier Cm1 of 6MHz and another frequency divider 12 divides the clock signal CLK into six parts and produces the 2nd carrier Cm2 of 4MHz. The 3rd frequency divider 13 divides the clock signal CLK into 12 parts and produces a data clock TXCLK of 2MHz. The 1st and 2nd carriers Cm1 and Cm2 are switched to each other by means of a switching means composed of a D-type flip flop 14, AND gates 15 and 16, and OR gate 17 in accordance with the value of a data signal TDX to be modulated. Then the OR of the two carriers Cm1 and Cm2 is taken by the OR gate 17. Therefore, a digit-like FSK-modulated wave TF whose phase is continuous before and after frequency shifting is outputted from the OR gate 17.

Also, even if retransmission request signals are sent out almost simultaneously from plural receiving stations 22, and a collision occurs, it can be known that the retransmission is requested from at least one or more stations.
