    Abstract: PURPOSE:To easily set a display mode as desired by a user by projecting plural objects in a set area and in different directions and displaying again a two-dimensional image that includes the scattered objects. CONSTITUTION:An arithmetic control part 1 performs the total management, an output part 3 performs the display output, and an input part 4 receives the operations of a user. The data to be outputted or the inputted data are temporarily stored in a main storage part 2. Then the user selects his desired object while a three-dimensional object is displayed on a two-dimensional screen. Under such conditions, the viewing direction of the user is automatically decided to the displayed images and also the images of different viewing directions are adaptively shown on the slave and sub-slave windows of a display screen. So that the user can select a proper object. Therefore the user has not to perform the complicated operations other than the selection of an object.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processor which surely calculates the spatial position on an object to be observed, even when a spike noise occurs.
    SOLUTION: The image processor is composed of a light pattern projection part 501, such as a laser light source or the like, for compulsorily generating a light pattern on the surface of the object, imaging parts 502 and 505 which are a first to n-th image input means for imaging the generated pattern, peak detection parts 503 and 506 for calculating the brightness distribution of the taken image and for detecting the peak value of the brightness therefrom, position calculation parts 504 and 507 for calculating spatial coordinates of the sampled point on the object from the point detected by the peak detection parts, a score calculation part 508 for classifying the points on the object calculated by the first to the n-th imaging parts 502 and 505 into clusters within ε-range and for determining the score of the cluster by the number of the points in the cluster, and an output part 509 for outputting, as spatial position information, the representative point of the cluster obtaining the highest score at the score calculation part, and the spatial position is calculated.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain an image processor for three-dimensional CAD or computer graphics in which the surface shape data of an object having an intricate shape can be obtained with a high resolution with no limitation on the method for measuring the three-dimensional coordinate value. CONSTITUTION:A cell generating section 78 generates a voxel data covering a range data inputted from a data input section 77. A cell working section 81 determines the intersection of the voxel data and a line passing the coordinate value of an observation point and the three-dimensional coordinate value of the surface of each inputted range data. An object region determining section 79 determines a corresponding three-dimensional coordinate value for each voxel data and a cell pattern recognizing section 82 determines a relationship between adjacent voxel data depending on the fact whether each voxel data has a corresponding three-dimensional coordinate value or not. A patch generating section 83 generates a triangular patch based on the topological relationship between the adjacent voxel data.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically produce a model of an object, which has a complex shape such as a human head and which moves, with practical accuracy and a processing speed. SOLUTION: By having an image fetch part 10, a feature point extract part 11, a three-dimensional position information extract part 12 and a three-dimensional patch group generation part 13, the device and system automatically generate a model of an object surface. The image fetch part 10 fetches time group picture (or a moving image group) of an object. The feature point extract part 11 extracts feature points which construct surface of an object which carries out model generation. The three- dimensional position information extract part 12 corresponds feature points extracted to one another between continuous pictures and collects three-dimensional position information on feature points from position coordinate information on that group of feature points and obtains three-dimensional position information on each feature point from position coordinate information on the group of feature points. The three- dimensional patch group generation part 13 generates a group of three-dimensional patches on the basis of feature points on which bits of three-dimensional position information are obtained. This three-dimensional patch group is outputted in an output part 14 as model information on the object.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate the natural body images approximate to the original by producing the changes of a body that can be visually recognized by means of the CG(computer graphics), for example, in consideration of many systemized states of the psychological, physiological and environmental states, etc. SOLUTION: A body image generation device changes the body images in response to the parameter of an environmental state generated by an environmental state generation part 4, e.g. a complexion becomes blue at a low temperature or the hair streams in the strong wind, etc. The body images are also changed in response to the parameter of a psychological state generated by a psychological state generation part 1, e.g. the complexion becomes red and blue in the excited and uneasy states respectively or the movements of the line of sight are decreased in a concentrated state. Furthermore, the body images are changed in response to the parameter of a physiological state generated by physiological state generation part 2, e.g. the complexion becomes blue at a low body temperature or becomes muddy when the skin is dry.

An action generating part 9 visualizes the actions of the respective body parts based on generated control information.
