SOLUTION: This regional information providing system 2 is composed of a position information acquiring means 9, a regional information database 10, a CPU 11, a ROM 12, a RAM 13 and a communication means 14. The CPU 11 realizes a regional information retrieval means 15 by carrying out a program stored in the ROM 12 and RAM 13, and the ROM 12 is also used as a set condition storage means 16. The position information acquiring means 9 acquires information on the position of the moving means. The regional information retrieval means 15 retrieves regional information in a prescribed region from the regional information database 10 on the basis of the information on the position and the set condition of the prescribed region stored in the set condition storage means 16. The communication means 14 transmits the regional information to a portable terminal 3.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the vertical resolution and the color reproducibility even for moving picture or a still picture by implementing field storage processing when the moving picture is recorded and implementing frame storage processing when the still picture is recorded. CONSTITUTION:Prescribed processing such as pre-amplifying, white balance, gamma correction is implemented to a signal read from a color solid-state image pickup element CCD 1 by a pre-processing section 3. Then the processed signal is converted into a digital signal by an A/D converter 4 and the result is inputted to a field storage processing section 5 and a frame storage processing section 6. The video signal and a still picture output obtained respectively by the processing sections 5, 6 are fed to a recording medium 7, in which the signals are stored therein. A CCD 1 has the field storage mode and the frame storage mode, and the mode changeover is implemented by a drive pulse of a drive circuit 2. Thus, excellent picture quality is obtained for both a moving picture and a still picture.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To reproduce the picture of a memory card which is photographed even by any electronic camera with an arbitrary reproducer by converting a signal to be obtained by photoelectric converting a picture to be image picked-up into a luminance signal and two color difference signals and writing this picture information into a semiconductive memory card. CONSTITUTION:A picture information signal composed of an analog signal to be outputted from a solid-state image pickup device (CCD array) 26 is given to an A/D conversion circuit 28 through a preprocessing circuit 27 and converted into a digital signal in the A/D conversion circuit 28. The digitized picture information signal is converted into the luminance signal and two color difference signals by a signal processing circuit 31 and supplied to a semiconductor memory card 15 together with a control signal containing an address signal. Thus, the picture information signal of an image picked-up still picture is stored in the semiconductor memory card 15 as a digital signal. Thus, interchangeability with other devices can be given to the recorded memory card 15.
