Abstract: PURPOSE:To enhance channel utilization efficiency by dividing repeatedly a sub-group into further sub-groups having exclusively usable number of channels and realizing a communication channel having a layered structure. CONSTITUTION:A communication channel is divided into successive channel groups each of which has the largest number of exclusively usable channels for information transfer to be regarded as the first sub-group. Next, the first sub-group is divided repeatedly into further sub-groups having exclusive usable number of channels respectively, whereby a layer structured communication channel having the second, the third...sub-groups is obtained. And any information relating to channel access requirements is assigned to a sub-group having its exclusively usable number of channels necessary for information transfer. It follows from the above that idle channels exist in every fixed sub-group unit, information to be transferred can be assigned in good order and the succassive channels corresponding to a sub-group can easily be left, whereby channels utilization efficiency is enhanced.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the line utilizing efficiency even if >=2 kinds of line connection requests with different channel capacity exists by assigning each information so that a consecutive channel with large channel capacity. CONSTITUTION:In case of transmission, in general, to mobile stations 201-20n, since a band of, e.g., 5 times is required in comparison with the transmission to fixed stations 101-10n, when a transmission connection request to the fixed stations 101-10n exists, an idle channel f2 for one channel's content is retrieved from a low frequency band for assignment. When a communication connection request to the mobile stations 201-20n exists, an idle channel for 5 channel's content (e.g., a low frequency region than the f20) is retrieved from a high frequency band for assignment. In the assignment above, the line setting occupy ing one channel's content is concentrated always on the low frequency region and the line setting occupying 5 channels' content is concentrated to the high frequency region. Thus, the call loss is reduced remarkably in comparison with the conventional system where the line is set at random in this case.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To attain always stable synchronization without causing a burst error and to cope with a signal of both 1 4-phase PSK and an offset 4-phase PSK nearly by the same circuit constitution by changing the sampling frequency of the signal of both the 4-phase PSK and offset systems. CONSTITUTION:When a reception signal is a 4-phase PSK signal, the signal is sampled in the same frequency as the data transmission speed of the signal and when the reception signal is an offset 4-phase PSK signal, the signal is sampled by a frequency twice the data transmission speed respectively taking the relation between in-phase component data and orthogonal component data into account, corresponding to 4 case of the recovered carrier phase of 0 deg., 90 deg., 180 deg. and 270 deg., for the in-phase component data and the orthogonal component data of the recovered carrier obtained by receiving/ demodulating the 4-phase PSK signal or the offset 4-phase PSK signal to which a unique word pattern commanding the position of a frame is inserted. Then the pattern of the unique word pattern inserting position in the obtained data and the predetermined unique word pattern are compared. The processing above and the predetermined unique word pattern are compared. The processing above is executed to detect the unique word for the relation of all the in-phase and orthogonal components to be considered, the detection signal is sent to a frame synchronizing circuit to establish the frame synchronization.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continue data transmission-reception without interruption even in switching from a current system to a standby system by selecting a specific time slot only in the case of the occurrence of a fault in a selected time slot itself. SOLUTION: In switching from a current transmission line S to a standby transmission line P based on idle time slot management information preliminarily provided in a transmission end station A, a time slot which is not used and is free from collision even though switched in a fault is preliminarily selected from time slots #1' to perform connection again if a time slot of the same timing as the current system is used in the standby transmission line. Thereafter, the current system where the fault is detected is disconnected and is switched to the standby system. That is, priorities are given to time slots, and the time lot is selected in the priority order; and only when a fault occurs in the selected time slot itself, another time slot which has the priority equal to or lower than that of this time slot and is not used is selected.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To shorten the connection delay time by transmitting the dial number of the destination from a slave station to a base station and transmitting the dial number of the destination to another network from the base station after confirmation of the destination and performing the continuity test of a set line in parallel. CONSTITUTION:When call originating is requested from a terminal (a), a slave station A uses a control channel 1 to send a call originating request signal to a master station B. When receiving this signal, the master station B uses the channel 1 to send a line assigning signal to the slave station A and sets lines 3 and 4. When the slave station A uses the line 3 to send the dial number of the destination, the base station B receives it, and the continuity test of the line 3 and the confirmation of the dial number of the destination are completed at this time. The base station B uses a control channel 5 to send the dial number of the destination to a ground network C after confirmation and uses the line 4 to send a test signal to the slave station A. When the slave station A surely receives it, the continuity test of the line 4 is completed. The call is terminated in a terminal (b) through the ground network C during this operation.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the call loss of a call X by assigning a 2nd time slot for a call Y while reserving a 1st time slot for the call X on the occurrence of the call Y. SOLUTION: A demand assign processing section 23 retrieves an idle time slot depending whether a demand assign request signal received from a slave station by a reception section 21 is for a call X or a call Y. When an idle time slot is available, idle time slot information is written to a transmission reception register 22 and the demand assign signal is sent to a corresponding slave station via a control line and a transmission section 24. In order to assign a time slot of the communication opposite party slave station, similarly, a line assign signal, that is, a time slot assign signal is sent via the control line and an exchange. The opposite slave station uses the time slot of the designated communication channel after that to make communication with the slave station. Thus, in the case of congestion of a multiple traffic, probability of call assignment is enhanced and the call loss rate is reduced.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To shorten communication instantaneous interruption time between terminals by holding a communication channel on a ground side when the quality of the channel of a mobile station and a base station is degraded and the mobile station selects the other base station. CONSTITUTION:In order to set the communication channel 4 between the base station B and the base station C beforehand, the channel is set between the base station B and a ground network D and then, the channel is set between the base station C and the ground network D. Then, when the channel quality of the communication channel 1 between the mobile station A and the base station B is degraded accompanying movement, the mobile station A selects the base station C. Then, the station A performs the channel releasing procedure of the communication channel 1 with the station B. After the procedure is completed, the communication channel between the terminal (o) and the terminal (p) is tentatively released. Then, when the communication channel 2 is set between a transmitter-receiver (f) inside the station A and the transmitter-receiver (h) inside the station C, the communication channel is set through the ground network D. Thus, the communication instantaneous interruption time of the terminal (o) and the terminal (p) can be shortened.

Moreover, the means identifying the channel assign request signal by the master station 10 is provided. Thus, the slave station using the common line and the channel through changeover can send the assign request signal to the master station without switching the channel used one terminal of its own station for channel assign into the common line and plural terminal equipments are used at the same time.
