Abstract: This invention relates to a method of stabilizing a metal-organophosphorus ligand complex catalyst against deactivation in a process which comprises reacting one or more reactants in the presence of a metal-organophosphorus ligand complex catalyst and optionally free organophosphorus ligand to produce a reaction product fluid comprising one or more products, and in which at least a portion of said process is conducted under separation conditions sufficient to effect at least some deactivation of the metal-organophophorus ligand complex catalyst, which method comprises conducting the portion of said process that occurs under separation conditions in the presence of one or more alkadienes sufficient to prevent and/or lessen deactivation of the metal-organophosphorus ligand complex catalyst.

Abstract: Esta invencion se refiere a un proceso para la produccion de uno o varios productos en un reactor de etapas multiples que tiene más de una etapa de reaccion donde el proceso comprende la reaccion en dicho reactor de etapas multiples de uno o varios reactivos con monoxido de carbono en presencia de un catalizador de complejo metal-ligando de organofosforo y opcionalmente ligando de organofosforo libre para producir dicho producto o dichos productos, donde dicho catalizador de complejo metal-ligando de organofosforo no se somete a una desactivacion sustancial en presencia de solamente monoxido de carbono y/o efectua un cambio de selectividad de producto normal de menos del 0.2% del producto normal bajo una presion parcial de monoxido de carbono de 1 libra por pulgada cuadrada y/o efectua cambio en la tasa de reaccion de menos del 2% bajo una presion parcial de monoxido de carbono de 1 libra por pulgada cuadrada.
