    Abstract: A transportable polymer-fluid composition and process for making the same is described. The composition comprises (I) a dissolved fluid which at normal temperature and pressure at standard conditions of 0.degree.C. and one atmosphere (STP) is a gas; and (II)a thermoplastic or thermosettable polymer having (a) a plurality of moieties with the intermolecular disruption characteristics of mono, di or tri substituted flourine on carbon and mono, di or tri substituted methyl on carbon or silicon, in which said carbon and silicon are a part of, or are directly or indirectly covalently attached to, the skeleton of the polymer's main structure, and are each no more than about 12 covalently bonded atoms from the covalent linkage to an atom in the main structure of the polymer, and (b) the properties of (i) enhanced expansivity, (ii) reduced cohesive energy density or (iii) both (i) and (ii), thereby allowing more fluid (I) to be dissolved therein, D 16,476 1

    Abstract: SEMI-CONTINUOUS METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR FORMING A HEATED AND PRESSURIZED MIXTURE OF FLUIDS IN A PREDETERMINED PROPORTION The present invention is directed to apparatus and methods for effectively supplying, feeding, measuring, proportioning, mixing, pressurizing, and heating on a semi-continuous basis, a plurality of fluids. Preferably, the fluids comprise at least one substantially non-compressible fluid, such as coating formulation, and at least one substantially compressible fluid, such as carbon dioxide, to form a substantially accurately proportionated coating admixture in the supercritical state of the compressible fluid for spraying the combined mixture through a spraying means onto a substrate to produce a coating. The process employs vessels having a known displacement volume to feed and proportion the fluids. The pressurization, mixing and heating is accomplished in an oscillation loop wherein the mixture is pressurized and heated while in such oscillation loop.     Abstract: A method is described for producing dispersions of polyurea and the like in polyols of increased stability by polmerizing an amine and an isocyanate in the presence of an aminoalcohol, typically an aminopolyol, having the following formula: wherein A and A' are individually connective atoms which may be same or different, and are selected from the group consisting of carbon and oxygen or combinations thereof with hydrogen atoms or the like satisfying the valences; B is a member selected from the group consisting of nitrogen, NR, R being alkyl or aryl, or CR', R' being hydrogen, alkyl or aryl; D is a member selected from the group consisting of ?(OCaH2a)? and wherein a has a value of one to four; X is a member selected from the group consisting of OH, NH2 or H; X' is a member selected from the group consisting of H or NHR' where R' is hydrogen, alkyl or aryl; n and d are individually integers of 0 to 10 and the sum of n and d is at least one and does not exceed 10; S is either 0 or 1; y is an integer of 0 to 4; and m is an integer of at least about 16, with the proviso that when B is nitrogen and either n or d is zero, X and X' are not both H.
