    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fix a rotor blade speedily and provide a necessary shield on coating treatment and polishing blast. SOLUTION: A tooling assembly 10 comprises a rotatable fixture 32 which contains a rotor blade 42, an elastic block fixing the blade 42 and a metal shield which is covered on an air foil of the blade 42. This tooling assembly 10 can be used in common for pretreatment and coating treatment of a surface. Therefore, the rotor blade 42 can be fixed speedily and economically. This fixture 32 can rotate so that even and high quality coating is possible.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To swiftly apply a shield to a rotar blade for coating treatment and pretreatment such as polishing blast for the surface and furthermore to fix them. SOLUTION: A rotatable fixing tool 32 receiving a rotar blade 42 is used in both of pretreatment and coating treatment for the surface in common without removing or resetting the blade 42. Moreover, a shield to be applied to each rotar blade 42 is used for both treatment. In this way, the rotar blade 42 is fixed by a swift and economical method. Furthermore, since this fixing tool 32 is rotatable, uniform, i.e. high quality coating is realized.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate such disadvantage that the aluminum foil tape of a shield for protecting surfaces provided adjacently to the end part of an airfoil is expensive, tales much labor for arrangement and removal and can not be reused. SOLUTION: A shield is used, whose end part 46 is exposed, which makes an airfoil 44, and has two side surface parts of a chord component which are respectively extended from a rear edge and connected to each other at a front edge in a blade width direction. The two side surface parts have at least two tubs, and the tube are extended from the rear edge and adjusted so as to be extended while being tightly stuck to the other side surface part.
