Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a method for applying sprayed coating on a substrate in a gas turbine engine. SOLUTION: The method for applying sprayed coating on a substrate contains the arrangement of a rotor blade 10 in a fixture 12 rotatable with a shaft as the center, the formation of a spray contg. coating medium particles softened in a device 14 for spraying a coating medium onto the tip part of the blade 10 and the passing the blade 10 through the spray. By changing the details as for various treatment including treating parameters, the sprayed coating can controllably be applied.
