Abstract: A pulsed combustion device includes a support structure (25) and a combustor carousel (52) supported by the support structure (25) and rotating relative thereto about an axis (500). Abstract: A turbine engine (20) has a case (22) with an axis (500). A fan (32) is mounted for rotation about the axis (500). A turbine (42) is mechanically coupled to the fan (32) to drive rotation of the fan (32) about the axis (500). A number of compressor/turbine units (38) are downstream of the fan (32) and upstream of the turbine (42) along a core flowpath (514). A number of combustors (41) are coupled to the compressor/turbine units (38) to receive air and deliver combustion gas to drive the turbine (42).
