Abstract: The invention provides a solution for a door closer (2), which takes into account fire situations so that the door closer does not promote the fire. The invention utilizes a door closer's adjusting device (1) to release the oil or other liquid inside the door closer (2) outside the door closer. It is performed in such a way that the adjusting device (1) can work normally in normal conditions, but in case of fire it allows the oil/liquid to flow outside from the door closer.
