Abstract: 本发明提供一种白色系发光二极管,系于具有发光层为半导体的发光元件,以及吸收所述发光元件所发的光一部分而发出波长与所吸收的光波长不同的光致发光荧光体的发光装置中,所述发光元件的发光层由氮化物系化合物半导体所构成,且所述光致发光火荧光体包含有Y、Lu、Sc、La、Gd与Sm一组中所出的至少一种元素以及自Al、Ca与In一组中所选出的至少一种元素而由铈致活的深红色系荧光体为其特征者,藉此,虽经高亮度、长时间使用却少有发光特性劣化者。
