Abstract:
A shoe has a sole having a capacitive sensor and a force actuating mechanism, and a wireless receiver. The capacitive sensor can detect and sense whether or not there is a foot is in the shoe. The force actuating mechanism can operate like a piston in an inactive mode (first position) and active mode (second position), wherein the active mode extends the force actuating mechanism's extending mechanism from first position to second position. The wireless receiver can retrieve any information in regards to geodetic locations from the capacitive sensor based on the capacitance signal.

Abstract:
A skin treatment device uses blue-light therapy to treat acne or other skin conditions. The device includes a positioning mechanism that allows a user to position the device on a target treatment area. Once the device is positioned, a safety triggering mechanism of the device activates the blue light therapy if it detects that the device is touching human skin, ensuring that sensitive areas (e.g., eyes) are not exposed to the blue-light therapy. An embodiment of the device includes a timing circuit to monitor the operating time of the device and an automatic shutdown circuit to prevent over-exposure of the blue-light therapy. Other embodiments of the device include a micro-vibration motor to massage a user's skin.
Abstract:
A stress cone (10) for massaging tight back muscles of a human body, the stress cone being a conical shaped body (11) with a rounded tip (12) at one end and an opposed concave base (14) at an opposed end. The stress cone (10) is typically made of solid rubber or other rigid but slightly compressible materials, and in some embodiments features a hollow core (18) for housing a vibrating motor (20). In use, the stress cone (10) is affixed to a wall via the concave base (14), and a user positions an identified pressure point of his or her body against the tip (12) and applies body pressure to the tip. The user can move side to side or up and down against the stress cone, massaging the muscles located at the pressure point to loosen them.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a device for sexual stimulation of a penis, with a housing with a substantially cylindrical cavity, a number of constriction elements with an opening which are placed in the housing and arranged adjacently of each other in axial direction, wherein the cavity extends through each of the openings and the constriction elements are each configured, when activated, to constrict their opening, and a control element placed in the housing for controlling the controllable size of the opening of each of the constriction elements, wherein the control element is configured to generate at least one reciprocally moving constriction of the constriction elements displacing over the length of the cavity along the constriction elements, at a frequency of between 0.2 and 5 reciprocal movements per second. The invention also relates to an apparatus for use by a sexual partner of the user of the device, which is configured for placing in the vagina of the sexual partner and provided with a number of pressure sensors and elongate sensor configured to detect the extent to which the apparatus has been inserted into the vagina.

A walking aid, such as a cane, can be equipped with one or more features and structures for increasing durability and structural integrity, providing increased mobility and support for users, aiding with common tasks, and providing an all-around improved user experience. Additionally, the walking aid can be constructed to include multiple detachable and collapsible segments for easy storage and transportability of the walking aid.
Abstract:
Method for the recovery and repair of eyesight through which out of the two eyes the weaker eye in need of repair or recovery is determined; both eyes are assigned an optical element influencing the passage of the incident light; the path of the light reaching the eye is periodically interrupted, thereby forcing the eye to perform additional focusing activity, so that transparency characteristics of the optical element assigned to the chosen or designated eye are left unchanged, and the transparency characteristics of the optical element assigned to the other eye are modulated so that the passage of incident light into the other eye is blocked and then unblocked with a frequency in the 0.2 Hz to 0.8 Hz range.Corrective eyeglass composed of an eyeglass frame designed for holding and positioning the eyeglass on the head; containing two fixed optical elements influencing the passage of the received light, a control unit exerting temporal control over the optical characteristics of said optical element, and one power supply unit supplying at least one optical element and at least one control unit with electrical energy, wherein the optical element influencing the passage of incident light is embodied as a controlled light shutter, at least one control unit is electrically connected to the control unit, and said control unit is embodied as a control unit influencing the optical characteristics of at least one optical element based on a pre-defined controlling signal and providing asymmetric control with a frequency in the range of 0.2 Hz to 0.8 Hz to the optical elements.

Abstract:
Devices, systems and methods are provided for treating migraine headaches and other conditions by non-invasive electrical stimulation of nerves and other tissue. A hand-held device includes a housing with a controller having a signal generator, an electrode for delivering electrical signals, and a conductive surface configured as a return path for the electrical signals. In certain implementations, the electrode is repositionable with respect to the housing. The patient can self-apply the hand-held device by pressing it against areas in need of pain relief. The device may include a pressure-sensitive gating switch to control delivery of the stimulation therapy. In certain embodiments, the electrode is a rollerball electrode. The device may include a chamber for retaining and dispensing conductive gel to the therapy site. In certain approaches, the device includes an electrode support for coupling an electrical stimulation system to the head for hands-free electrical stimulation therapy.
