Abstract:
There has been a problem of necessitating a complicated work for establishing a connection capable of intercommunication between a computer as server and a projector as client. When a connection is established between a server 20 and projectors 301 through 30n, a communication command is issued according to UDP-based broadcasting to retrieve connectable projectors 301 through 303. Thereafter, the projector 301 to be connected is selected and is assigned an IP address to establish the connection. In this manner, a user can easily obtain a connection environment capable of intercommunication between the server 20 and the projector 301. A TCP/IP communication command is used to input or output image data, ensuring reliable transmission. Since the authentication can be provided using a keyword projected during the connection establishment, it is possible to prevent an unauthorized access to the projector 301 by an outsider.
Abstract:
A print unit for transferring an image to a photosensitive medium is provided, and the print unit includes an intercepting member for intercepting light; a first plane light-emitting member for forming a first image by emitting light, provided on one side of the intercepting member; a second plane light-emitting member for forming a second image by emitting light, provided on the other side of the intercepting member; and a control unit for controlling light-emission of the first and second surface emitting members and transferring at least one or more of images to the photosensitive medium.
Abstract:
A digital photo frame (DPF) with annotation function and a method thereof are provided. The method includes steps of: reading a to-be-displayed original photo; displaying the read original photo; receiving touch operations on the touch screen; generating an annotation interface on the original photo in response to the touch operations, identifying an annotations corresponding to the touch operations, and displaying the annotations on the annotation interface; making the annotations overlaying on the original photo; displaying the overlaid photo.
Abstract:
Methods and system for transferring images between devices is disclosed. For example, differently scaled images by a host device may automatically and/or selectively be transferred to a media player for display. In turn, appropriately scaled images may be transferred automatically and/or selectively to another display device for example a TV, camera or printer. The selectivity may occur either at the host level or at the player level.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a multimedia system using a mobile communication terminal and an external connection device for the same. The multimedia system uses a video/audio output device, a peripheral device, and an external connection device. The multimedia system includes a mobile communication terminal having a video/audio output function and a peripheral device control function so that the mobile communication terminal outputs images and sounds by using the video/audio output device and controls the peripheral device; and an external connection device for connecting the mobile communication terminal to the video/audio output device and the peripheral device, relaying the images and sounds from the mobile communication terminal to the video/audio output device, and relaying data transmitted/received between the mobile communication terminal and the peripheral device. When multimedia data is reproduced by using a mobile communication terminal, it is easily connected to an external video/audio output device (e.g. a TV) or a peripheral device (e.g. a computer, a mouse, a joystick) to construct a multimedia system.
Abstract:
An information processing system includes a media information acquisition section that acquires media information, a media information storage section that stores the media information acquired by the media information acquisition section, a usualness level evaluation section that evaluates a usualness level of a user based on information that includes sensor information from at least one of a behavior sensor that measures a behavior of the user, a condition sensor that measures a condition of the user, and an environment sensor that measures an environment of the user, and a write section that writes the usualness level of the user evaluated by the usualness level evaluation section in the media information storage section so that the usualness level is linked to the media information acquired by the media information acquisition section.
Abstract:
A digital photo frame capable of displaying images is provided. The digital photo frame includes a display, a user input unit, a memory, and a processor. The memory is configured for storing images, types of frames, and display modes, wherein each of the display modes defines a total display area count of images displayable on the display, types of frames assigned to each display area, and a predetermined display manner. The processor includes: a reading module configured for obtaining images and the display modes from the memory, an assigning module is configured for configuring one or more display areas on the display according to the total display area count defined in the display mode, and assigning the display areas with different frames; and a displaying module configured for displaying the images in the display area assigned with different frames according to the display mode.
Abstract:
A camera module of image processing and a method for integrating the camera module with a host are described. The camera module has a display control interface, an image sensor, and a camera control circuit. The display control interface is used to control at least one display module. The image sensor is used to capture image and provide image data signals. The camera control circuit is used to control the camera module. The camera module bypasses the display data signals of a host to display control modules according to a bypass signal. The camera module also performs image processing according to the bypass signal and a command set.

Abstract:
An image display system 20 includes a projector PR1, a computer PC1 and a USB memory U1 which can be connected in an ad-hoc mode by using a wireless LAN. When a user connects the USB memory U1 to a USB interface 75 of the projector PR1, the projector PR1 writes network setup information in a setup information storage area 144 of the USB memory U1. Then, when the user removes the USB memory U1 from the USB interface 75 and connects it to a USB interface 125 of the computer PC1, the computer PC1 performs network setup by referring to the network setup information and establishes connection to start projection by an automatic start program.
