Abstract: The apparatus for cupping includes a cupping bell, a suction chamber, and a piston member with a handle and piston skirt. The suction chamber connects to the cupping bell, and actuation of the piston member through the suction chamber creates a vacuum in the cupping bell. Skin and soft tissue adjacent to the opened end of the cupping bell is suctioned into the cupping bell for cupping therapy of the treatment area. The suction chamber has a locking device cooperative with a locking notch on the piston so that dimensions of the piston member correspond to set levels of suction in the cupping bell with continuous pressure when increasing suction during a treatment. The cupping bell has a flared portion for engaging the treatment area with less trauma and pain for the patient.

Abstract: A method of controlling a compression device controls a vent phase of a compression device having an inflatable bladder capable of being pressurized for applying compression to a part of a subject's body. The method includes delivering pressurized fluid from a source of pressurized fluid to a first inflatable bladder disposed about a portion of the subject's body and venting the pressurized fluid from the first inflatable bladder by opening a first valve. The method further includes monitoring fluid pressure in the first inflatable bladder during the venting of the first inflatable bladder. Based at least in part on the monitored fluid pressure, the first valve is selectively closed and selectively reopened to control fluid pressure in the first inflatable bladder to remain within a desired residual pressure range.

Abstract: A massaging shoe and a method for manufacturing the same are provided. Since the sock sleeve (50) is detachable, it is convenient to detach and clean the sock sleeve (50) after use; if the massaging air bag (30) is damaged, the massaging air bag (30) and the sock sleeve (50) can be replaced directly, and the shoe body does not need to be disassembled, such that it is convenient to repair; moreover, this massaging shoe is simple in manufacture, has a high machining efficiency, and has low cost.
