Abstract: A device for recycling sulfuric acid is provided. A container has an inner space. An inlet is located on the first side of the container for introducing a liquid containing sulfuric acid and hydrogen peroxide through a pump. An outlet is located on the second side of the container for exhausting the treated liquid from the container, and the first side and the second side are opposite sides. IR lamp and UV lamp are located in the inner space of the container for making contact with the liquid. IR radiation emitted from the IR lamp and UV radiation emitted from the UV lamp decompose the hydrogen peroxide in the liquid to water and oxygen. The IR radiation heats the liquid to 90° C. to 130° C., and the oxygen is exhausted through the air hole.

Abstract: A water-dispensing device includes a source water intake, a spigot, and first and second filters arranged between the intake and the spigot. The first filter includes a first inlet and outlet. At least the first inlet includes a first electrically controlled valve for selectively placing the first filter in fluid communication with the intake. The second filter includes a second inlet and outlet. At least the second inlet includes a second electrically controlled valve for selectively placing the second filter in fluid communication with the intake. A controller is configured to: (i) receive a water selection from a user, and (ii) configure the first and second valves based on the selection such that water flowing from the intake toward the spigot will enter any of the first and second filters corresponding to the selection and bypass any of the first and second filters that do not correspond to the selection.

Abstract: A water purifier comprises: an RO filter including a non-filtration part, a filtration part, and a reverse osmosis membrane for filtering the raw water into the purified water; purified water and raw water storages; a flow channel through which the raw water and the purified water flow; valve modules selectively opened or closed to adjust the flow of the raw water and the purified water; a sterilization module for sterilizing the raw water from the non-filtration part; and a controller controlling the opening/closing of the valve modules and the sterilization module based on flow modes. In a flushing mode for cleaning the reverse osmosis membrane using the purified water, the controller opens/closes the valve modules so that the purified water flows into the non-filtration part and flushing discharge water from the non-filtration part flows toward the raw water storage, and drives the sterilization module to sterilize the flushing discharge water.

Abstract: A rural wastewater recycling device, including a collecting ditch, a moving cover, multiple treatment units, a water storage tank and a biological purification assembly. The collecting ditch has a trapezoidal cross section, and is connected to the moving cover. Adjacent treatment units are communicated, and two terminal treatment units are respectively connected with the collecting ditch and the water storage tank. The water storage tank is configured to store treated water. The biological purification assembly is connected with the treatment units, and is configured to purify wastewater flowing through the treatment units. A rural wastewater recycling method based on such device is also provided.

Abstract: A hot water circulation system comprises a water heater having a cold-water inlet and a hot water outlet. A water pump circulates water through the water heater to produce hot water. The hot water is circulated to a thermal bypass valve, which is configured to close when hot water contacts a heat activated seal. A bypass circuit is coupled between the hot water outlet and the cold water inlet of the water heater. The bypass circuit prevents hot water from circulating from the hot water outlet to the cold-water inlet when the thermal bypass valve is open and promotes circulating hot water from the hot water outlet to the cold water inlet when the thermal bypass valve is closed. Upon a temperature sensor sensing hot water entering the cold-water inlet, the water heater turns of the water pump.
